Cooper's first lie came in his opening. He either lied to Rove or he's lying here about why he called Rove. We know that call was supposed to have been about something else entirely, but here's Cooper Sunday version:

And Rove was right .. Wilson has been proven by the Senate Intel Committee AND the 9/11 Commision to be a Liar

What motive did she have for recommending her Foppish Husband for the "yellow cake Deal"? Since he was retired,how much money did the Government pay him to sip tea,and troll for Business partners in Africa. They are both leftist, Bush hating democrats,and they live high on the hog. This is probably getting to be a huge diversion for anything the CIA is trying to do on the Anti Terrorism front. It is a long time until the Grand Jury will be disbanded in late Sept or early October,and the out of control democrats plan on beating this to death until then. They figure that if they spend every waking moment til October pushing their crap that whatever the Prosecutor later says will not be listened to because the MSM/DNC will not cover it.

Yes considering his age and past health problems as I said on another thread with the strenuous medical they must give a Vice President I think the results of the physical was both encouraging and probably the same or better than the average 64 year would be.

I think what I am learning from all of this is that the MSM sees its job as making sure that the RIGHT people are in office and in power. That is why, while there is an element of comedy in this, it is not really funny. The media and the leftist WORK TOGETHER with like minded people at the CIA and at STATE and, in so doing, they damage our government and they damage our war effort. I wish they could be stopped.

Surely the special prosecutor and the grand jury will know Matt Cooper engaged in deception with Karl Rove. He lied about why he was calling.

The State of the Union, with those 16 words occured back in the winter. This call took place in June, with only Joe Wilson's ire being the new component. Cooper has to be lying when he acts totally ignorant of Joe Wilson. You have to think those lies willl make Cooper's testimony to the grand jury suspect.

Laurie Dhue just asked him about the British MI-5 letting one of the bomber go last year, that was involved in this... Let us all remember his answer....He said that things like that happen no matter how good intelligence is...that some people just get through... WE have to remember what he said, because IF there is an attack here in the US, and we find out that one of the terrorists had been questioned by the CIA (Bush's CIA) and written off as not involved in terrorism, HE CANNOT come on Fox and blame the Bush CIA...

Very good point and unfortunately true as the CIA, MI5, FBI etc are only made up of people who after all are not infallible.

Here's the thing .. we really don't know what exactly Cooper said under oath in front of the GJ

What he said to them and what he is saying to the public .. could be 2 different things ... or he could have lied in court
