The LSM just CAN'T let go of this bogus non-story.

And they wonder why nobody trusts them anymore?

The Grand Jury can be continued until hell freezes over or the next election, whichever comes first. I believe the plan is to keep this percolating for as long as the MSM can get any mileage out of it then dump it in time to move on to the next smear.

I would think they would be getting tired of attacking Rove now. Rove had nothing to do with leak. But we do have some guilty parties. Looks like some Democrats are in hot water.

I just left the Frontpage Magazine site that I also read--and David Horowitz has a commentary about this, and his theory is that this was planned by Plame and Wilson,

in order to discredit Bush's plans to go to war with Iraq, and they have been the ones that basically started the whole, anti-war, illegal war rantings all over the world.

He seems to indicate that what SHOULD happen if all of the evidence is presented is indictments of Plame and Wilson for treason.

In the absence of any legitimate evidence against the hated Rove, even the WashComPost is now reduced to assuring the faithful that Serious Questions Remain Unanswered.

one of the most famous leaks since Watergate.

Oh, puhleeze, WaPo. Get over it. This one ain't happening, and you're not returning to the glory days. Your glory days, passed you by, glory days, in the wink of a young reporter's eye, glory days, glory days.

Do these people even bother to read the newspapers, or do they just spend all their time snorting cocaine and dreaming of Watergate and Vietnam?

Novak told Rove that he was hearing that Wilson had been sent on the mission at the suggestion of his wife, who was working in the CIA, a lawyer familiar with the conversation said. "I heard that, too," Rove replied, according to the lawyer. Rove said Novak had told him Plame's name and that that was the first time he had heard it, the lawyer said.

This appears at odds with Rove's comments to CNN on Aug. 31, 2004, when he said, "I'll repeat what I said to ABC News when this whole thing broke some number of months ago. I didn't know her name. I didn't leak her name."

At odds? Seems to jive to me.

The last paragraph of the article should be followed by: "Join us next week. Same moon-bat time, same moon-bat channel!"

New York Times's Judith Miller, behind bars for refusing to testify. Her role remains a mystery, because she never wrote a story.

This was buried on page 3. Earlier tonight I read a Slimes article on Rove that didn't once mention it's own employee, her role or her imprisonment.

Isn't is just fascinating how the lamestream media is soooo uninterested in Miller?! Wonder if she feels a little hung out to dry by her press buddies, doing her time in that minimum security facility, all alone....nobody in the press barely even writing or rememberimg that she's there. And nobody seeming to even give a damn.

I'm not a conspiracy type but it is "chilling" (a little DemocRAT lingo there) that "the company" arranged to send a DemocRAT partisan political hack recommended by his wife who is another partisan politcal hack, to Africa so he could come back to the U.S. and write a Bush-bashing op-ed piece for the partisan NYT and write a Bush-bashing "book" about what supposedly occurred during his U.S. taxpayer funded African junket safari. It's "chillin'" I tell ya!

Did the White House leak the identity of a CIA operative? Is it a crime? Did Bush have any knowledge of it? Will Fitzgerald have spent this much time pressuring officials and reporters and not deliver an indictment?

Sounds like a script for "As The Horse Is Flogged".

Wilson spent a week in Niger chatting with locals about the allegation, coming to the conclusion that the yellowcake charges were probably unfounded.

If I spent a week in Omaha chatting with the locals could I conclude that reports that Warren Buffet had been there were probably unfounded?

"Wilson set out to discredit the charge, working largely through back channels at first to debunk it. He called friends inside the government and the media, and told the New York Times's Nicholas D. Kristof of his findings in Niger. Kristof aired them publicly for the first time in his May 6, 2003, column but did not name Wilson. This caught the attention of officials inside Cheney's office, as well as others involved in war planning, according to people who had talked with them."

Washington Post just answered their own questions about who "leaked" her name, Wilson to Kristof to Miller. Miller was probably tasked to write a follow up and requested verification. Kristof stated to Miller that she could use Wilsons wife because she works on WMD at the CIA. The reason Miller didn't write the story was because Kristof told her that Wilson's wife Plame was also covert but then Miller probably didn't feel right about using her as a source due to rehearsed testimonies so then she contacted Cooper. She asked Cooper to get Rove to verify the source and he could have the story. Miller was probably going to do one after Cooper just to make sure Plame panned out first. Cooper calls Rove and confirms through "I heard that too". Now Novak probably learned of Wilson through Kristof's piece and did some good investigative reporting and learned about Plame, Wilson's wife, and beat Cooper to the story.
Wilson himself leaked the info and the only one who can clarify this is Miller who sits in jail.
