Regretfully, we've had a recent influx of liberal democrats, which have assisted in the election of the democrat governor Brian swizzler Schweitzer.
Presently, he is actively engaged in inviting more people to Montana, presumably democrats, to increase their strangle-hold on this once conservative state.
So, I am personally inviting all of my conservative FREEPER friends to visit this website and invite themselves and their conservative family and friends, to come to Montana.
The first beer is on me, after that, you gotta buy your own. :-)
Below is a link to the website.

Originally, I wanted to send invitation to radical conservative groups using a fictious e-mail acct, but I didn;t want to stoop to the level of democrat tactics.

I think I speak for most of us when I say thank you for keeping our high standards of morality and behavior. :)

I'll tell you there's nothing like Montana. I love the countryside. Unfortunately, its impossible to get a job there.

What kind of democrats are up there? Practically all my family in southern Illinois are democrats but I don't think anyone voted for Durban or Kerry.

Enviro tree hugging, wicca worshipping, kerry-voting rabid anti-bush, feel good tofue eating liberals.
Many of the liberals that screwed up Oregon and Seattle have moved here. They don't realize that "no matter where they go, there they are" and they bring their sh!t with them.

During the late 80s, I knew a conservative couple from MT. However, they always maintained that the University of MT is quite liberal, leftist. Is this still true?
To: lilylangtree
That I am aware of, all the University in the state are quite liberal. Isn't that true with any University andywhere?

Sales tax rate?
Income tax rate?
Can a guy smoke and drink in a bar there?
Why did you name the state after the greatest QB in football history?

The flathead lake is the largest natural lake in the west, on windy days, the waves are big enough for kids to boogie-board on, but other than that, no surfing is available.
There is water-skiing and wake-boards.
and we do have great winter sports here.

Not exactly. Try, for example, Oklahoma State University (Payne County...Bush) or even the University of Oklahoma (Cleveland County...Bush). Not terribly sure about the professor classes, but both these counties went Bush by wide margins.
