DALLAS, N.C., July 15 - For the second day in a row, Karl Rove was at President Bush's side in a highly public appearance on Friday, a signal that Mr. Bush continues to support him as the political pressure mounts over Mr. Rove's role in discussing an undercover C.I.A. officer with reporters.

Some Democrat Senators are calling for measures against Rove, so yes, there is political pressure.

And don't forget, none other than Joseph Wilson wants him out of the White House. In fact, Wilson wants him "frog-marched" out of the White House.

What a bunch of comedians.

It is unclear if Mr. Rove's actions meet the legal requirements that make disclosure of an undercover agent a crime....

Here's what IS clear, this reporter is trying to DECEIVE the public!

Peter Finn(DNC hack) on MSNBC just said this goes “all the way to the top!”

Pat Buchanan is backing him up!

I was dividing the "pressure" equally between the MSM and lib/dems. But, it's probably more like 100% of both!

"Both" is not possible because the MSM and lib/dems are ONE!!!

The MSM/DNC alliance is the biggest threat to our Republic since communism.

Please don't fret, they are imploding rapidly and are soon to be flushed down the tube!!!

I just saw the same thing. OMG. I hate to be so sour and negative but Im telling you this doesnt look good politically. People dont go into the story only headlines. The commercial on MSNBC is Cooper on with Russert Sunday "Did Karl Rove ought a CIA agent" A full story with Abrahms Monday Night!!!!

Bush's intergrity numbers are surprising and Pat said they will go down with this. I think he is right. I am so pissed right now I can hardly stand it.

I like the Democrats approach. Government by liberal fantasy. Everyone is guilty until proven innocent. This will certainly encourage me to entrust important matters of government to the Democrats.

Pat Buchanan should know, because he was a speechwriter for Nixon. All right, Pat, I just lost my last tiny shred of respect for you.

Yeah your are right, and we still haven't heard any of Kerry's many plans to save everything. That to me would be the patriotic thing to do. Of course, we all know he didn't have any plans. ha ha

I don't know where this will all go, hell, according to all the info, Plame was not under cover in the last 5 years...so is the crime something else against someone else...hmmmm

Here's some schadenfreude considerations for your pleasure:

Fitzgerald is a Democrat appointed by the president to be the Special Prosecutor to investigate the Plame kerfuffle, with pressure from the NYT, which supposedly wanted to find out that Karl Rove had broken the law to bring down the Bush administration.

Miller, the reporter working for the NYT on the story to bring down the president, allegedly is the reporter who, a couple of years ago, inadvertently warned an Islamist charity that Fitzgerald was coming to seize records to prove it was giving money to terrorists. That gave the charity time to shred all evidence and spoiled Fitzgerald's case. That interrupted Fitzgerald's career advance, naturally.

Karl Rove the genius is certain he did nothing wrong in his conversation with allegedly ethical alleged journalist Cooper, so he signs a release giving everyone access to all comments having to do with the Plame kerfuffle. GWB, the eminent politician, hires a Democrat to investigate to be sure there will be no cries of coverup, but he appoints one with a grudge for NYT reporter Miller (who Karl Rove did not speak to).

Eager for high visibility, Democrat Fitzgerald pursues an investigation of a much-hated Republican administration largely on behalf of his own party's agenda but, finding that genius Karl Rove had done nothing reprehensible, turns his sights upon allegedly ethical alleged journalists Cooper and Miller.

Cooper poops everything he's got, Cooper walks, Time magazine publishes, the left goes nuts, and Miller goes to jail.

Fitzgerald nemesis Miller knows something the NYT wants to remain hidden, the NYT receives something from someone somewhere who knows what is going on inside the Special Prosecutor's office and prints a story that was supposed to suggest Rove is guilty but which ends up basically exonerating him (yesterday morning)

So here we are, with DU crazies suggesting that Wilson is a Rove agent, and we have to wait for the Fitzgerald probe to complete.

Our only concern should be that the Special Prosecutor does not takes off down paths that do not involve Karl Rove the genius or the President himself. There are idiots in every organization, after all.

Spineless US Senate would rather protect Hanoi Kerry
than deal with the anti war crowd.

Anyone who thinks Hanoi Kerry isn't behind the anti war crowd needs to get a clue.

It's time to support our troops and ignore the jelly fish in the US Senate!

There is no need to impeach Hanoi Kerry from the US Senate

He is there illegally!

WAKEUP AMERICA!

For those who "forgot" what Hanoi Kerry
did in the past read on and learn the truth.

Hanoi Kerry was still a USNR officer while he:
gave false hearsay testimony to Congress
negotiated with the enemy
helped the US lose a war
abetted in the deaths of millions
created a hostile environment for all servicemen

Why is Kerry still in the US Senate?
This is in violation of
U.S. Constitution Amendment 14 Sec 3

And the FBI has proof of his treason.

When liberals are in power they have "literal" deep throats and when Republicans are in power there are "peepers to press" deep throats. We are due for the "peeper to press" type of deep throat.

Wasn't Linda Lovelace the first "deep throat" then came the FBI guy, followed by Monica, now it time for a presstitute deep throat.

Could minor Ambassador Joe Wilson himself have been the source in blowing his own Wife's cover?

It is distinctly possible, (though it may be unlikely that Joe Wilson himself directly was NY Times Judith Miller's source), since Joe Wilson himself evidently routinely bragged openly to strangers about her CIA employment, prior to such "cover" being "blown" in the press.

Here's an example of Joe's apparently routine and open bragging about Valerie being a "CIA agent," which became known directly to me over a year ago:

He certainly bragged about it per a famous and highly reliable source's (named below) account of his own face-to-face encounter with Amb. Joe Wilson prior to Valerie Plame's "outing" as a CIA agent/employee.

Based upon a personal conversation (we were in a small group eating; it was NOT an "off the record") I had with eminent historian Victor Davis Hanson (we were at a luncheon table together during a trip to Europe), it appeared entirely possible that Joe Wilson himself was the (or one source, if not the original one) possible source in revealing his own wife's status as a CIA agent or employee.

Victor Davis Hanson (Wilson presumably knew Victor Davis Hanson wrote regularly for NRO (National Review Online), had done OpEds for the Wall street Journal, and other publications, and had his own Website with a widespread following) said he (VDH) & Joe Wilson were both in the same "Green Room" before a televised debate-discussion on Iraq, etc. and Joe first warned the TV make-up person not to get powder on his $14,000 Rolex watch, then he bragged to Victor about several things (possessions and trips to Aspen, etc.), like his expensive car (I think it was a Mercedes), and then bragged about his beautiful wife who, Joe Wilson said (braggingly) was a CIA operative.

I asked Victor Davis Hanson Why he didn't write up this account.(?) He replied that Joe Wilson would probably simply deny it, since only he (VDH) & Joe Wilson were in the Green Room together before the broadcast.

However, it is now easy to surmise that Joe Wilson is a crass, materialistic, self-promoting, vain, egotistical, bragaddocio-opportunist, so this account is perfectly consistent with Valerie Plame's TWO photo shoots in Vanity Fair. (Or was it Vogue? No, probably too crass for Vogue, n'est pas?)
