Friday, July 15, 2005 | Kristinn

Fox News' White House Wendell Goler reported tonight that Congressional Democrats have inquired with the Library of Congress whether administration officials like Karl Rove can be impeached.

This was reported with a straight face by Goler......

.....but gales of laughter were heard echoing from the White House in the background.

That's a great line. Love it.

Dog says they've jumped the shark. What a cartoon that'd make. A jackass in a leather jacket, labled Dems, on a surfboard labeled Rove Impeachment, jumping a shark labeled Media.

Or something like that.

So, no Dem will show up on his show, and Gibson can do a bad impression of a Dem. I consider that a two-fer!

If we give them Rove's head, it'll just encourage them and nobody will be safe. They'll want to impeach Barney next.

Who is more insane, the democrats or the people who vote them into office? I would say the latter.

Karl Rove cries:

Please don't throw me into the briar patch, oh please!

One last question, was Goler's interview carried during Brit's Special Report show? If so, I'll catch the repeat tonight.

I was being facetious. Goler was reporting from the White House lawn, though.

I'm appalled for another reason - these people are supposed to be professionals at this. Their staffs are supposed to be professionals. Both are largely made up of lawyers. This question isn't worthy of an eighth-grade civics class. What are we paying these people for?

I liken it to my boss telling me "Drill, we need to field a new server," and me answering "Sure - let me call the vendor to see if we need an electric or steam model." He might figure he has the wrong guy for the job.

So the Dems have decided to give Gibson a free hour without rebuttal? I think they may be in the running for title of the 'stupid party'.

In other news, McClellan joins the blessed in Washington by ranking calls for resignation. Scott must be proud.

Bush, Cheney, Rummy, Delay, Ashcroft, Rove....

Attempts to run Rush off the air.

Scott's in good company!

Anyone want to take bets on who they will call to resign nect? Have they gotten to Chertoff yet?
