Can you show me one legitimate study or proposal that shows how the border can be sealed?
The Secretary of Homeland Security says that we must enact a guest worker program that would allow the migrant workers to cross back and forth at legal checkpoints (like in Israel) before it will be possible to secure the border from terrotists, drug smugglers and MS-13 gangs.
WE TRIED TO SEAL THE BORDER AND ABANDONED THE PROJECT WHEN IT PROVED A DISMAL FAILURE
Men willing to die to feed their children aren't going to be stopped by silly fences.
Anyone paying attention probably knows where at least 2-3 of those places are at. Heck, on the streetcorner across from Home Depot is a good start at a guess. It works for one of the two nearby here (the Tillie Mill one).
Hey, rod, come back to the other thread. Someone just posted the late breaking news about the guy killed by the SWAT team in LA - you know, the guy who used his infant daughter as a human shield. Turns out he's an illegal alien. (But he's a GOOD man, he ran his own business and everything...!)
But, I guess a few hundred murders is the price you pay for cheap lettuce, eh?
L
Ahh yes, the 'rod falls back on posting his lying photo which does not represent more than 2% of the border.
Which is as stupid as putting a door on a house with 25 openings with no doors, windows or locks, and then after the house is robbed again, claiming the "door test" proves doors don't work.
Are you really that stupid (I think not) or are do you have a covert agenda here?
My canned response to your canned quisling propaganda:
Living on the border, I can tell you that the fence there certainly needs to be improved - as do the border roads, lighting, sensors, etc. Surrendering our southern border is not an option. But I can tell you that the fence won't need to be that high if we remove the incentives for the border intruders to come here in the first place. Talk of a reward-the-criminal-invader scam only encourages more to cross.
The only legitimate solution which upholds our laws, preserves our national sovereignty, puts Americans first, and does not reward criminals is to NOT adopt a reward-the-criminal invader scam (aka. guest worker program) as you propose but to actually enforce our laws, crack down on dishonest criminal employers, and remove all of the incentives which draw the criminal invaders across our borders in the first place. The border crossing will slow to a trickle and those here illegally will go home.
The difference between you and me is that I favor a policy of enforcement that puts Americans first. You, instead, favor a policy of excusing the lawbreakers, offering them rewards and putting foreigners first.
Your solution forces Americans to bear the responsibility for supporting those who invade our country. My solution makes the invaders individually responsible for breaking and entering our nation and forces them and their accomplices to face the consequences for their actions.
Your solution encourages businesses to continue to engage in unfair and illegal business practices. My solution punishes criminal employers and benefits those who are obeying the law.
Your solution sympathizes with the lawbreaker. My solution penalizes the lawbreaker.
Your solution is soft on crime. My solution is tough on crime.
Your solution is to offer rewards and understanding to the invaders. I believe it is time to unleash the might and power of the United States law enforcement and military to repel the invaders and punish those who aid and abet them.
Your solution is a surrender. My solution has America protecting the rights and property of its citizens and preserving our sovereignty.
There's nothing at all covert about bayourod's stupidity...
Ahhh, but he seems to have quieted down for now. Maybe something to do with that illegal alien in LA who got shot by the SWAT team while using his infant daughter as a human shield...
Don't worry, he'll be back soon enough.
I don't think he's stupid, I don't think he believes one word of his lies.
bayourod,
I posted an article that included:
*****
As of press time, deportation proceedings were continuing on all 10 men.
"Several of them had teardrops tattooed under their eyes [a gang symbol that theyve killed someone or someone close to them has been killed]. They also had SUR-13 tattoos on the backs of their heads and on their arms, and there were SUR-13 belts and hats lying around," said Alpharetta Sgt. Sean Woods, a member of the Crime Suppression Unit. "They were definitely members of SUR-13."
*******
You ended up saying:
"Men willing to die to feed their children aren't going to be stopped by silly fences."
Are you completely disconnected from reality??????
My post wasn't directed at anything in your article, but rather in response to Travis' post.
The fence that bayourod loves to post was built by Clinton/Gorelick. That answers everything.
