ROCHESTER, Minn. -— Three men face charges after being accused of damaging a car that displayed the Confederate flag in Rochester.
Police said a woman approached two people in a parked car, upset over the flag. The people sitting in the car told police the woman threatened to "get her boys to take care of it.''

My opinion is that yankee anymore has less to do with geography and more to do with personality/beliefs. I know many Northerners who are fine individuals and would find themselves among kindred in the South. Likewise, I know some from the South who might as well be living in Massachusetts.
That clinic is one of the best in the world. Terri is gone. Get over it.
Not that I support property damage but displaying a flag who's entire history was killing American's, well, someone can expect a little damage.

I, as a proud son of the South, used to have long talks with him about the Civil War. One day he and I were talking when another officer approached. This particular officer happened to be of the Northern persuasion. Both officers were very good friends with each other. When the Northern-born officer heard us discussing our ancestors who had worn gray, he made a crack about the Southern-born officer's ancestor being on the losing side. I saw the Southern-born officer's eyes flash momentarily, and instinctively stepped back to be out of the line of fire and fists. Nothing happened, but I have often wondered if their friendship was ever the same."
It is because of such men as Sam Davis that I will always defend true & faithful soldiers who stood fast to duty for G_D & country. I find it deplorable that even his enemies who put him to death in the heat of war had more respect for those who wore the gray than some of the craven types today

There is no such thing as "Minnesota" nice anymore.
A year or so ago, We had to go to New Mexico, then to
Galveston. I met some of the nicest people during that
trip. Then about six months ago had to go to OK. city,
again, some of the nicest people....... I did not want to
come back. Back on topic. It saddens me that this subject
tears Americans apart. United WE Stand seems to be a thing
of the past. These days, it is more like my way or your
dead. How can WE be strong if WE cannot get along?

Somehow it seems like the whole story is not being reported on this rebel flag issue.
Sure, they should be charged with destruction of property, but I can't say that I blame them for doing what they did.
