Air America Radio needs your help to get a traitor out of the White House. For two years, we've known that someone in the White House undermined America by maliciously leaking the identity of CIA covert operative Valerie Plame to punish her husband for criticizing the Bush Administration. And now what many suspected has finally been revealed: the leaker is President Bush's closest advisor, the man they call "Bush's Brain" – none other than Karl Rove.

A growing chorus of voices is calling on President Bush to fire Karl Rove – including Air America Radio hosts and listeners. The White House will try to say that Americans don't care about this. They'll try to pass it off as an "inside the Beltway" issue.

George Bush has never been in such a "bad spot," as one reporter put it at Monday's White House press briefing. When this scandal first came up in 2003, the Bush White House said unambiguously: "If anyone in this Administration was involved in it, they would no longer be in this Administration.” (Scott McClellan, 9/29/03, White House press briefing)

The President must now make good on his word. By signing our petition, you'll be helping Air America Radio do its job as the country's leading progressive media outlet to bring pressure to bear on the Bush White House that won’t let up until Karl Rove has had his security clearance revoked and is barred from the White House.

Here are the facts about this case:

• Valerie Plame was an undercover CIA operative who worked in the field of WMD counter-proliferation.

• After her husband published an editorial in The New York Times critical of the Bush Administration, Valerie Plame's name and her CIA affiliation were leaked to a number of news sources.

• Right-wing hack Bob Novak published a column outing Valerie Plame and effectively ending her career.

• One of those who received the leak about Valerie Plame’s identity was Matt Cooper – his source: Karl Rove.

• By exposing her identity, Rove destroyed a valuable asset in the war on terror. But even worse than that, he potentially exposed and endangered a network of intelligence assets throughout the world that Plame had built painstakingly over an entire career.

• We will never know just how much damage Rove did, nor how many lives he ruined.

Wow, where to start. Plame was acting undercover only to undermine the current administration. She was an undercover op within the CIA to benefit only the lefties and the DNC. She was a desk jockey who should have been fired for incompetence and nepotism.

Her "network of intelligence assets" consisted of paper passing memos from other field agents. In truth, will we ever know just what she did, in detail, while at the CIA? No, as it should be. But that goes for both sides.

Her entire career seems to have been putting socialist spin on field memos, providing cover for leftie reporters, lining her husbands pockets with junkets to faraway lands and building up a sizable government pension.

Maybe the CIA should move Langley to North Dakota. At least then the rats might jump ship.

Plame was acting undercover only to undermine the current administration. She was an undercover op within the CIA to benefit only the lefties and the DNC.

I'm not sure she was ever officially undercover. The Boston Globe admitted two years ago that "Brewster-Jennings" could not have provided much cover if any. It seems like it would have been easy for Plame to get a D&B number and make up Brewster Jennings all by herself. If that's the case, she should have been fired for doing it so poorly. If not, whoever set up that "cover" should be fired.

This is starting to get weird for me. I look like Karl Rove's identical twin. I mean, I am a dead ring for Karl Rove. If I grayed my hair up a little bit, you would not be able to tell us apart.

I found this out once when I was a delegate to the State GOP Convention when a reporter started staring at me very strangely. She interrupted my cell phone conversation and insisted that she take photos. She later published a photo of me next to a photo of Karl Rove. I'd heard of Karl Rove, but never seen a photo before that.

Now, I get stopped once in a while in the store, restaurants, etc with people asking if I'm Karl Rove. But, now with Karl Rove all over the news and the Democrats going hyperactive over him, I'm getting a lot more of it. Some of it isn't very friendly. I try to have fun with them, "Ooooo...I'm Karl Rove...fear me." But it is getting weird.
