The NY Times is now going to try to shape their "facts" around the info that's already out in an attempt to get Miller out.

The leftists have latched onto yet another non-story that they will continue to chase until their credibility plummets another few notches.

All of their moronic pursuits of non-scandals and non-events keeps them from having to focus on the fact that they are clueless and have no plan and no vision for America. But, the good news is that their straregy is achieving one positive benefit - it's getting more conservatives elected!!!

Subject: Moving On: A New Kind of Peace Activism

By Don Hazen, AlterNet    "Our goal is to make it impossible to ignore the    anti-war sentiment in this country." - Eli Pariser    of MoveOn.org

A tall, bearded young man, his blue suit hanging awkwardly on his body, steps to the microphone in an ornate room in Washington, D.C.'s JW Marriot Hotel.
To the young man's right is the suave, articulate Ambassador Joe Wilson, who served as Deputy Chief of Mission to Iraq in the Clinton Administration.
To his left is former Congressman Tom Andrews, the savvy new National Director of Win Without War, a broad-based anti-war coalition.

These men, along with Darcy Scot Martin of Women's Action for New Directions (WAND), Rev. Brenda Gerton- Mitchell of the National Council of Churches and others are at the Marriot to make the case to the American people for the continuation of UN inspections as a strategy of containment.
The goal: to avoid destabilizing the Middle East, which would increase the chances of future terrorist attacks and expose U.S. military and Iraqi civilians and soldiers to the retaliation with biological and chemical weapons that an invasion of Iraq may well provoke.

So....Wilson liked containment of Iraq

Was someone close to Wilson part of the Oil-for-Food scandal?

After hearing that Plame hasnt even worked overseas since 1997, its clear to see the lib loons really are out of their minds. Didnt Kerry accidentally out someone not long ago? I think it was him and another senator who inadvertantly gave up someones ID.

Judith Miller has fallen in love in prison with a woman named Big Bertha. The two will wed when Judith gets out. They ask that their privacy be respected.

Does not mean the NYT will print the exclusive tomorrow and a major retraction the next day?

It seems the NYT lately is known for its retractions and inaccuracies. Like the baby that was orphaned by the tsunami which caused the real parents of babies major headaches trying to GET THEIR BABY BACK because of the foul-ups of the NYT. I believe the NYT is one of the Top TRASH TABLOIDS in NYC. And I guess its major competition nationally is the National Enquirer.

Maybe they should write novels than be involved in journalism.

Is this the part where Bush, in a trench coat and ski cap, meets with Bob Woodward in the ground floor of a capital area parking garage at 2 AM and gives the identiy of Wilson's wife?

Would the NYT diss their own for a great exclusive? Or will the NYT try to find a scapegoat?

Decisions, decisions. (not)

"This is a serious investigation," the president told reporters after a Cabinet meeting Wednesday, where Rove sat just behind him. "And it is very important for people not to prejudge the investigation based on media reports."

This should be interesting. The NYT knows who Miller's source is, yet they are posturing in lockstep with the DNC. If Rove is the source, then their behavior is highly unethical since they are persecuting their source. If Rove is not their source, then they are joining in an attack they know not to be true. And they do this as one of their own sits in jail. Have they no decency?

I'd love to know why Wilson was so eager to finger Karl Rove in September of 2003. After all, he couldn't possibly have known who was responsible. So why didn't he accuse bigger fish like Rumsfeld or Cheney. But...but...wait! Maybe Wilson did know the source. Because Matt Cooper told him. Because Cooper's devotion to confidential sources is relative. Hey, Wilson can't take a meaningless story and turn it into a scandal without a little help from the truth tellers, right?
