I have not received any cards through the post yet maybe I might get one tomorrow. I have however printed out those posted on the dose and they are all round the bed at the hospital.

Update on dad. Subject to an Xray tomorrow showing that the liver is normal they are going to send him home. On one count I am pleased but on the other we still IMHO have not found out why he could hardly stand on Friday maybe it was an infection but that has never really been confirmed and they just put him on antibiotics IMHO in case that was the problem. Of course it could have been caused by the liver flare up.

Also they have not come up with any alternative medication and in fact he has not seen a urologist though they have said there is a chance he might get to see one tomorrow he leaves. The most important thing is the hormone tablet for prostrate cancer which they took him off because it is know occasionally to give liver problems. The lipitor is renowned for it and I am in a way less concerned about this as hopefully we can control most of the problem with diet but I want to ensure tomorrow they have in fact done as cholesterol check as of today it seems they have not but have withdrawn the cholesterol drug.

Their stance is that they have put right the problem he was admitted with ie liver problems and the medication will have to be sorted out between dad's GP and various consultants. Though there is a very slight chance the urologist may call in to see him tomorrow.
