Yes, he's toast but I also believe Miller got her info from Kristof of the NY Times.

Well, well........the answer to the question "Why didn't Karl Rove just say 2 years ago that he was the one who named Plame and save us all this trouble" is "Why didn't Joe Wilson tell us the truth about his wife in the first place?"

This whole thing looks like a drama queen and his wife making a big deal out of nothing.

If I say George Tenent works for the CIA will I have to go to jail?

"I really hope that Rove is leading the press and the Libs down a path from which there will be no return."

I think that Rove carefully planned out this scenario. It makes the Dems look like the biggest group of whining fools. I just hope that the Dems keep hammering at this. They are hammering the nails in their own coffins.

No, it isn't, if the person is not classified as undercover. I was in a class in the Washington D.C. area a while ago, which had students from various companies. Two people there were from the CIA and they were very open about it. They had their employer listed in the class log as the CIA. At lunch, I asked them how it was to work for the CIA and they said it was like any other large organization.

I've thought all along that Rove was saying "don't throw me into the briar patch.

So basically the facts we can glean from this interview are that Joe Wilson is a liar who voted for Algore, the liar who didn't invent the internet (and didn't do a lot of other things he claimed).

BLITZER: But she hadn't been a clandestine officer for some time before that?

WILSON: That's not anything that I can talk about.

Finally, something Mr. Big Mouth can't talk about. How convenient. Of course Stooge Blitzer didn't challenge him on this salient point.

Rove reminds me of the Road Runner who runs from Wiley Coyote and stops just short of the cliff while Wiley Coyote goes charging off the edge of it.

I think this is bigger in scope than just Dems v Republicans.

That is very intriguing. I am very late to all of this Wilson scandal, but it is starting to come together in a big way thanks to all on the Free Republic. I think you could be on to something here.

I think Our President is going to go down in history with greatness in the ranks of Reagan.

I'm kind of late into it too, but in a nutshell, he and his wife are drama queens.

Thanks for finding and posting this. Aside from the obvious bombshell, it looks to me like he's doing a lot of tapdancing and fancy footwork. I think the guy's about to be exposed for what he is, and even better, might face some legal problems--so he's doing his best to weasel word as much as he can.

It's not a crime to say someone works for the CIA. Or is it?

********************************************** No, and Chuckie Schumer voted against the law that is in existance.... you know, the one he's trying to hang Rove with.

This is interesting:

WILSON: It was Chris Matthews of "Hardball."
BLITZER: He said that he had spoken with...
WILSON: He called me up as soon as he got off the phone. He called me up and he said, "I just got off the phone with Karl Rove. He says your wife is fair game."

This partially explains Matthews' zeal over this story - he helps create it & then helps "cover" it ROFLMAO

BLITZER: Do you believe that Karl Rove committed a crime?
WILSON: I don't know. That's in the hands of the special counsel. Clearly, the CIA, in referring it to the Justice Department, believed that a possible crime needed to be investigated. And that is what set off the investigation and that is where we are now.
Two years later, after the president had said he wanted everybody to cooperate with the Justice Department investigation, we've had to go up to the Supreme Court to get the release of the confidentiality waiver for a journalist. We've got one journalist who has been through agony before he was released and we have another journalist languishing in jail. It is time for those sources to step forward and accept responsibility for what they've said to these journalists.

Actually the SCOTUS had to get involved to get the reporters to confess what they were told, it's (again) exactly the opposite of what Joe LIAR Wilson is pitching here!

Everybody knows that Joseph C. Wilson is a bald-faced liar.

Everyone except OLD MEDIA like the IDIOT David Gregory, dumb*ss Andrea Mitchell and pucker lips, Terry Moran. They probably know it but just aren't going to admit it. They would then have to admit they have been lying about all of this.
