In other news, the US has a missile defense system and a second strike capability, and thousands more nuclear weapons than China could ever dream of. A single Ohio-class sub has more nuclear warheads than China's arsenal put together.

Sure, China would be smoke inside of a day, but America would be gone, too. That would likely not be the end of it. There are a lot of scores to settle on this planet.

It is estimated that they currently have 400 warheads. That number will only increase, especially as they fill their vaults.

This is according to Wikipedia: "By some estimates of true spending, the PRC's military spending is second only to the US's of over $400 billion."

This increase in wealth has been directly related to the passage of 'Most Favored Nation' status and is a new and welcomed phenomenon for the Red Chinese. They are most certainly laughing (at us) all the way to the bank.

Man, I love those Ohio-class boomers.

Call me a Cold War dinosaur, but the fact that we have literally thousands and thousands of nuclear weapons poised to strike lets me sleep well at night.
