A coalition of far-Left organizations that includes avowed revolutionary communists, Islamists, marriage-abolitionists, and cop-killer advocates has launched a crusade against the U.S. military and San Francisco school children could get caught in the crossfire. An organization known as College Not Combat seeks to place a resolution before Bay City voters on the November ballot, declaring that the people of San Francisco oppose U.S. military recruiters using public school, college and university facilities to recruit young people into the armed forces. The non-binding measure would encourage the citys high schools to deny military recruiters access to their student directories, from which recruiters attempt to find new volunteers. Such an action, undertaken in the name of the children, would constitute a violation of section 9528 of the No Child Left Behind Act and could end up denying the offending schools access to government funds.

San Francisco isn't really part of the United States of America.
For them the only good army is the Red Army.
"For them the only good army is the Red Army."
That's a positively brilliant play on words. Consider it stolen!
What he forgot to say was "These institutions should only be used to indoctrinate leftist, liberal, pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, anti-gun, pro-communist and pro-gay, lesbian and transgender lifestyles. The military has no place here"
OK, so let's abide by their wishes. No more recruiting in San Francisco's schools. Immediately after announcing that the military will cease recruiting in San Francisco's schools, let's also announce that all military institutions within a 100 mile radius of SF will also be closed and no military personnel will be allowed inside the city limits of SF. Ever. Also make it be known that, because the city of SF so loathes the military, that no military action will be taken in the event of hostile actions against the city on the part of any combatant worldwide.
In a nutshell, make it known worldwide that SF is no longer under the protection of the US military and any action taken against the city will not be considered an act of war. SF is free to police and protect itself any way it sees fit, but, even in the event of a nuclear bomb being detonated there, we will not retaliat towards anyone who takes action against the city. Go outside that 100 mile radius and your arse is ours. Inside it, well, they can take care of themselves.
Idiots!
I just wonder how bad it has to get before real Americans get fed up with these communist insurgents in this country, or will we just continue to whine about it on web logs until the country is destroyed, and the try to find someone else to blame.
America has been attacked, within our own borders, and our people, US troops and allies included are being blown up everywhere. Meanwhile, the enemy is able to operate out in the open on US soil.
May we please now have the re-institution of the House Un-American Activities Committee?"
That would be the Democratic Party, I guess.
The SF Supervisors this week decided that moving the USS Iowa to become a museum in SF would be "too patriotic" for their anti-American sensibilites.
I also say that all US defense of SF be eliminated. However, as I live in San Jose, the 100 mile radius includes my home. So let's make that 50miles, ok?
even 50 miles is cutting it close for us in San Jose.
Ping to an old thread
Thanks.
Yeah, this is her other main gripe. That people are allowed to join the military. Horrible!
Yet most of these groups do support militaries in other countries--like Iraq, Iran, Syria, Cuba.
The requirement seems to be that the country has the hate the US. Then it is A-Okay for them to be armed to the teeth. In fact, they encourage it.
Yea well .. does she realize that if she succeeds in blocking recruitment's ... then we will be force to bring back the draft?
bttt
I'm just one good seismic shift away from my glass bottom boat Hollywood tour business.
Yep, liberals don't make sense, do they. When Bill Clinton was President, they were ===so=== excited that the Military was now "theirs".
