Why do I have this feeling that someone just got a target letter from the SP.

Is that 3pm ET or... Fiji time?

And just what, may I ask, is wrong with Fiji time?

Perhaps Sen. Schumer should step down until his wife, Iris Weinshall, NYC Transportation Commissioner (left), is cleared of wrongdoing in the 2003 Staten Island ferry accident that killed 10 people. The Commissioner was described as being lax in enforcing regulations to such an egregious degree that her husband had to ask that there not be a federal investigation. Weinshall also came under fire in 2004 for her discriminatory hiring practices.

I don't think they had this in mind when they made the call, but they recognized it as soon as it fell in their lap.

Ummm...yes they did. That is why Cooper called Rove under the guise of researching for a welfare reform story. It has been determined that the Cheney/Wilson connection question was in the last two minutes of that conversation. It was done on purpose to try to set up Rove. Now, check this out...a Freeper reported on here:

Brit Hume said tonight the word from the Rove camp is that Rove learned where Joe Wilson's wife worked because a reporter told him.
This fits in perfectly with the premise of this article:

Something doesn't add up about why Judith Miller went to jail. The New York Times reporter didn't write a story about the Valerie Plame case and had a waiver from her source in order to talk about it to the grand jury. But she insisted on going to jail anyway. Speculation is mounting that Miller is protecting herself, that Miller was herself a source of information about Plame that made it to several Bush administration officials and was then recycled to columnist Robert Novak. He, then, disclosed Plame's employment by the CIA and her role in arranging for her husband Joe Wilson's mission to Africa to investigate the Iraq-uranium link.

This would help explain why Miller didn't write a story about the case. It would be difficult for Miller to write a story when she was so deeply involved in how it developed. Disclosure of her role then or now would be extremely embarrassing.

The more likely explanation is that Miller is protecting private discussions with administration officials, and that during those discussions she provided or confirmed information about Plame's identity. This would make sense. Both Miller and Plame covered the subject of weapons of mass destruction and it was likely that they knew one another, or at least were aware of each other's work in this field.

I have done extensive research on this subject, not that I'm necessarily proud of this fact. Folks, you have no idea how this has been orchestrated since day 1.

And if you're listening to Rush, he is verifying everything on my little satirical story below. There is soooooo much to this story.

Anyway, check it out. IT's my Blog. HOW IT ALL CAME ABOUT

we are rarely on offense (we were with the Durbin incident, and it worked out very well) - always on defense,

Piss off, Ms. perpetual doom and gloom.

All I know is, someone, somewhere is p!ssing in their pants because it's going to be blown wide open soon. The poor, pathetice Dems just don't know when the jig is up. They keep pushing and pushing until they fall over the edge.

I would think that once you are caught stealing classified documents that they would suspend your clearence WHILE they work out any plea bargin.

But then I would also think they wouldn't elect you to the senate from New York....

Dubyaphobya is truly pathological, way worse than the press treatment of Reagan. Which was pretty bad.

Since the election the Dems have been thinking about impeachment. But since they haven't been able to hit Bush with something big, they have to create "A Story"--i.e. a pattern. This is done by taking seemingly unrelated events and using them to construct a ramshackle plot.

Start with Abu Grahbe, which didn't hurt Bush much; add Gitmo, which didn't hurt Bush at all; keep leaning on the lack of WMD in Iraq; now add this.

Individually they are not much, but when they are framed as part of an ongoing deception, they have a cumulative power.

If Rove is let go--I believe he won't be--the Dems will see the blood in the water and go whole hog. If he's not, the Dems will use that as one more open wound; if they find one more thing to add to this continuing story, it may reach critical mass.

The media have seized on the Rove story because it's not easy to explain all the details, but it IS easy to say "Rove revealed the identity of an undercover agent".

Anyone still doubting the MSM are liberal dem operatives, working in the open, not through secret meetings and phone calls but in the open, they aren't capable of simple logic.

THANK YOU JOE WILSON ...

I agree, the more light this story sees, the darker it's going to look for the RATs.

Oh good grief, it was awful. He used all of the dem talking points he could without taking a breath. He mostly tried to frame his entire argument into Bush lied to go to war in Iraq and is now trying to smear Wilson and his wife for revenge.
Yes, he said that, plain out, no speculation on his part, he stated this as fact. He also made a point of saying that his wife is known as Valeria Wilson (not) Valerie Plame. The reason he took pains to do that was to discredit the Rove argument that he didn't specifically name her. Wilson went on to say how many wives does he (Rove) think I have, if he inferred it was my wife than her last name would be Wilson. Of course, he then went on to say that President Bush should honor his word of firing whomever leaked his wife's identity. Albom is a liberal twinkie apologist and he just let him spew his hatred.

Speaking of Wilson and lying, did anybody ever come up with a link to a quote where Wilson said Cheney sent him to Niger?

I think you have a point. But I don't think any reporter is going to reveal that, which would be the one thing that would blow this out of the water.
