Joran cooked up this elaborate scheme to deliver an American woman to a white slaver and yet had to bum a ride in his friends' car and leave himself as the last person seen with her?

Or he took Natalee to the beach at 1:00 AM and just happened to bump into a slave trader he knew who was strolling on the shore and he delivered her on the spot to cover his gambling debts?

These scenarios don't fit for me. (Although I freely admit that mine doesn't for others.)

Can't blast you. I've had the same thought myself. It would make it easier for him to make some 'truth' out of what he's said.

Think about it: "I left her on the beach." [drugged, so someone else could collect her after I left.]

Remember, the fishermen said they saw a red jeeplike vehicle for about 40 minutes at the location Joran 'said' he took her to.

What motive? His gambling debts, of course. However well-off the VDS family may be, it was said he was a cr@ppy gambler and lost money that night...how much? Was he well know at that casino because of his rampant spending? Does that mean he's done this before.

I heard that another American woman has told the FBI he tried to run the same game on her. Think that's true?

They did & it was only a half day off to search. And I don't think it was the majority of Arubans, either. Only a select few.

Did you hear Mickey Sherman (defense attorney) go on and on about how people change their stories routinely under intense interrogation. He supported Joran on that one.

Guess that's why he thought M. Skakel was innocent of killing M. Moxley, then...'cause Skakel "routinely" changed his story under such intense interrogation?! Ha! Sherman's probably correct...it is TRUE...for someone who's hiding something...for someone who is innocent and telling the truth, I seriously doubt their stories change.

I think there is merit to this theory. (I just recently posted comments regarding the orchestration of the events, at least as we know them.) If it's accurate though, it may be that the brothers are in as deep. I don't think Joran needed them to accomplish a walk on the beach.

I do, if I may butt in. I think Joran lost that hot temper of his we've been hearing about for over 6 weeks now and beat her to death after she refused to give in on the beach.Probably didnt take more than 3 or 4 blows at most after she smacked him in the eye and pissed him off. Then he and daddy disposed of the body. It is a str8 up local crime. Not that hard to figure out imo, hard part is ...Where is Natalee?

You forgot the Elizabeth Smart case. She came home, after most had given up hope.

Unsolicited or not, your theory certainly fits the facts more than an unintentional homicide and a body effectively concealed by three kids working with no prep and a four hour window.

If Joran is hiding info, media presence or otherwise, he'd still clam up, IMO. Yes, Greta has a machine gun approach to questioning ANYONE there. It's a wonder no one has told her where to go. I have to hand it to her, though. She's got a quick mind, going from one question to another without hesitation. That people may not be coming forward in order to avoid TV exposure...it's an interesting thought.
