I think geraldo was talking to jossy mansur and he used the terms dyed and tinted, blond and red, but I'm not sure in what order..he said he got the info from a person who saw the hair..

I could be wrong (I have been before) but I almost sense a desperation to Miller. It seems to be something about his daughter and wanting to make a difference.

Thanks.

Those poor parents. This is so agonizing for them.

I empathize with the parents. The Aruba system of Justice is touted as being so good, but seems to be lacking in informing the victims of a crime. It also appears to be lacking in obstruction of justice charges. If so maybe they will make some changes to their archaic system.

I am quiet aware of the conflict in our own country between free Press and the right to a fair trial and I see where sometimes the Press can convict or acquit based primarily on their power so publicity can interfere with a fair trial. On the other hand an open court prevents "Star Chamber " like actions...I wonder what the victims rights are should a criminal trial fail (like O.J.), can they sue civily and would all the evidence then be available to them or destroyed? Are police reports public at some point in time and if not, who checks up on the police?

From SM Arubagirl:

Okay, first of all, there isn't a 'Turtle Cave'. There is a Cura di Tortuga (= Turtles Garden), and that is in between Daimari Bay and Natural Pool

Also, it's pretty far from Tunnel of Love.

An SUV that resembles a Hummer, perhaps.

I have a 4wd SUV and I wouldn't even dare drive there.

You would need a hummer to drive at that spot.

another monkeyI've been there several times but not in 4-wheel drive. You just go c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y. It really is bumpy.

"....who checks up on the police?"

in America, a jury does.....in aruba, the associates of Paulus van der Sloot will....

Thanks Yaelle. Whatever the name of the place is it is suppose to be about a mile from the Boca Prins area.

Conchi di Tortuga, Aruba
A natural pool or "conchi" of turtles "di tortuga" is a secret, hidden pool on the windward coast surrounded by rocks; a great place for a perfect getaway from the crowds.

I see it. Apparently that Tortuga Pool is called on this map "natural Swimming Pool" and it's a little more than a mile up the coast, NW of Boca Prins. Was that "grave" at Boca Prins?

I read on another site that the Equusearch had already checked that natural pool and found it clean? Was this piece of tape washed up from the beach, or in the pool?

I didn't hear anything about another barrel. I have been out most of the day but I think I am caught up on this thread.

Natural Pool
The Natural Pool or "conchi" called "Cura di Tortuga" is a secret, hidden pool on the windward coast surrounded by rocks and is a perfect getaway for a moment of total relaxation.
The location of the pool is surrounded by some of Aruba’s most rugged terrain, so visitors truly gets the feeling of having "discovered" something when their eyes focus on the site. Diving from the rock cliffs into the protected pool of ocean water is the main reason why so many venture here off the beaten path.

But who said it was naturally red? And how could they know that? Weird.

Someone (maybe Jossy) on Geraldo said that the found strands were naturally red, bleached blonde.

There is a poster on Scarded Monkeys who says that Beth's natural hair color is red.

Natural Pool (Cura Di Tortuga).
The Natural Pool or "Conchi" called "Cura di Tortuga" is a secret hidden pool on the windward coast in a picture-perfect ambiance. Surrounded by rocks in a remote, rugged terrain, it’s an adventure that provides a moment of total relaxation Diving from the rock cliffs into the pool of ocean seawater is a major attraction here. A 4-wheel drive vehicle or horseback ride is the best way to reach here, but cars are not the right choice. Refreshments and a camera are advisable to travelers.

Boca Prins
Near the north east coast of Aruba, the arid landscape of the island is dotted with cacti, aloe and gigantic hills of sand. Highly impressive sand dunes can be seen at Boca Prins near here. People touring the island by jeep or scooter enjoy driving around. There might be a sand burning experience for some, but many can have good fun catapulting from the top of a sand dune to the bottom. Some hardy clothing is highly recommended while visiting these dunes.
