The survey, which was conducted from July 8-11 among 1,009 adults, and which has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points, finds that respondents, by a 49 percent-to-46 percent margin, disapprove of Bushs job performance. Thats a drop from the last NBC/Journal poll in May, when 47 percent approved and 47 percent disapproved.
Furthermore, only 41 percent give Bush good marks for being honest and straightforward his lowest ranking on this question since he became president. Thats a drop of nine percentage points since January, when a majority (50 percent to 36 percent) indicated that he was honest and straightforward. This finding comes at a time when the Bush administration is battling the perception that its rhetoric doesnt match the realities in Iraq, and also allegations that chief political adviser Karl Rove leaked sensitive information about a CIA agent to a reporter. (The survey, however, was taken just before these allegations about Rove exploded into the current controversy.
However, 50 percent think Bush would be making a mistake if his choice changes the courts balance on Roe v. Wade. There are chunks of people who are certainly right-to-life who are willing to leave [Roe v. Wade] alone, McInturff explained.

BS! We already voted on this in November. Bush won, I think that poll has more credibility than this one does.
Another news flash: 100% of the people who are typing this don't give "a fetid dingo's kidneys" about any poll pMSNBC comes out with...
I'm sure both of their viewers are on the edge of their seats.
This article is pure fecal matter. More bankrupt MSM wishful thinking and fantasy.

50% is not an overwhemling majority. We are winning this argument slowly but surely, despite the way the press is trying to spin this poll result.
Here's the pattern:
The media flings around a bunch of S***, then takes a poll to see how much stuck to the walls.
They're not reporting news, they're trying to create news.
BTW, I was referring to the result on the Roe v. Wade question.
Those polls are worthless, because for all we know, they polled 1009 socialists, or illegal aliens, etc.
Polling registered voters at least gives one an idea of the mix and it's verifiable, but adults, they could be anyone. They probably polled at a moveon.org party.
Liberals are fanatical religious hypocrites who ignore and lie about any law or truth that rubs them the wrong way.
If they wanted to kill babies they should have at least followed the Constitution and passed an amendment, of course they could not do that, even with the MSM's constant support and propaganda they still would not have had the votes.
I'll take, "MSM Bull-Shi!," for $7,000 Alex.
EXACTLY! They have slung alot of that sh*t on Karl Rove, and both Leno and Conan tonight where slinging more. AOL had a poll up tonight about Rove seeing how much stuck.
BS!
Most people who give a rat's rear are either on vacation, taking their children to sports activities or taking care of their family and not answering STUPID POLLING QUESTIONS!
>>BS! We already voted on this in November. Bush won, I think that poll has more credibility than this one does.<<
Actually I think it is accurate. If you have studied the polls, you would see that a slight majority call themselves pro-choice, and an overwhelming majority doesn't want roe changed. I am not in that majority, but there is a huge majority that thinks roe is settled. Honestly I do worry about a backlash if roe is ever overturned. The better route right now is probably to roll it back legislatively.
Your analogy has to be the best one I have heard. It is totally true. Is that a quote from someone or did you make it up?
So? The Gallup poll has him up by +3.
