ISRAELI soldiers killed a Palestinian militant as he was meeting a British reporter in the West Bank city of Nablus, witnesses said.
They said soldiers broke into a house where Mohammed Alasi, 24, a local leader of the Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, was talking to the reporter. Alasi tried to flee, but soldiers shot him dead and took his body, witnesses said.
The Israeli military had no immediate comment.
The witnesses did not know which news outlet the reporter represented, giving her name only as "Annie".
They said she was being questioned by Israeli forces, and her translator was detained.
The Al Aqsa group is linked to the ruling Fatah party of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
Nablus, the largest city in the West Bank, is a main centre of militant activity. Israeli forces carry out frequent raids there.
Shhh!
It has been clear for some time that the media have been actively cooperating, one might say complicit, with terrorists.
Several published AP photos could only have been taken by staffers who had prior knowledge of killings and other terrorists crimes, so they were on the spot with their cameras, confident that the killers would not kill them.
Reuters, BBC, and AFP also appear to be complicit with terrorists. They have, for example, been present when terrorists have used SAM missiles to try to shoot down aircraft.
Many of these organizations hire locals to work for them, which is to say that they hire terrorists, or friends of terrorists, who are very useful at picking up news and photos without danger of getting themselves killed.
News reporters seem to think they have unlimited license to do whatever they want. But some things are simply not legitimate--meeting with the enemy, talking with murderers under an agreement not to inform on them, that sort of thing. I hope "Annie" got a rude shock.
Maybe she can cover Banda Achea with Kevin Sites.
Ditto that.
Allahu fubar!
I'll try not to be too sad when the PA goons string her up from a lamppost as a "collaborator." That won't be hard ...
Now that's fighting terrorism. Little chicken sh*t tried to run? They always claim to go down fighting, what a crock.
I love that phrase. Especially in this article.
What happened to "ah sh*t, slippsies"?
Notice that a number of those photographers are wearing what appear to be hockey or motorcycle helmets,
Is that because they're riding the short school bus?
d.o.l.
Criminal Number 18F
That picture is worth a million words.
*shrug* Accidents happen...
No but you can bet her cell was monitored and located via GPS and they smoked the guy right in front of a member of the british press, most likely lead to the terrorist by the reporter..... Ah that is a beautiful thing....
Cut some slack! The interview was in Nablus, and he was only trying to bravely run back to Hebron, where he had left his weapons & bomb belt.
