The Terrorist Connection in the U.S.

By Stella Jatras

Americans have been warned that there are still many al Qaeda "sleepers" i.e., "cells" in this country just waiting to commit another 9/11. How many of these sleepers have infiltrated the pro-KLA communities under the guise of being freedom fighters for Kosovo independence?"

A recent report in The Brooklyn Connection writes, "It's common knowledge that buying weapons in the United States is surprisingly easy. But what about outfitting a foreign guerilla army? Meet Florin Krasniqi, one of the driving forces behind Kosovo's fight for independence. He lives in Brooklyn, N.Y., where he runs a successful roofing company. But he is leading a double life. "The Brooklyn Connection," based on material from Stacy Sullivan's book, Be Not Afraid, For You Have Sons in America, shows the terrifying ease with which this charming businessman raised $30 million during the Kosovo War, purchased weapons across the USA, and shipped them legally to Albania to be smuggled into Kosovo. [Note: Legally? In a TV interview Krasniqi admitted that the weapons were shipped as "hunting weapons for a safari to Africa."] The war ended in 1999, but Krasniqi warns that there could be another struggle with arms provided by this Brooklyn roofer."

What is more important is that The Brooklyn Connection article does not mention the fact that Florin Krasniqi immigrated to the United States from Kosovo on Christmas Eve 1988 by sneaking across the Mexican border in the trunk of a Cadillac. To read more on Kraniqi, please go here where a photo of Krasniqi and more interesting information is available.

And get this! A report from The House of Wheels, an Australian publication states, "But back to the documentary [please note that the "documentary" is in German] - 11:08 into the video, we see KLA recruiter and illegal immigrant Florin Krasniqi at a John Kerry fundraiser with a few other KLA members. Then the defining moment - the KLA terrorists are shown, on video, financially contributing to the John Kerry campaign. Shortly afterwards, the video shows Democrats Wesley Clark and Richard Holbrooke having a nice laugh with the terrorists. A quick check of Fundrace.org found that Florin Krasniqi has donated to the Kerry campaign, and that Florin Krasniqi has raised 30 million for KLA, who we have already established is a terrorist organisation." You can read the entire The House of Wheels report here.

A New York Times article of 4 March by Joyce Walder titled, "Side by Side in Life, and Now, in Death," sympathetically chronicles the deaths of the three Bytyqi Albanian-American brothers who went together to Kosovo to fight and die along side the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). Please read,"Is Self-Defense a 'War Crime'? How KLA terrorists are turned into 'victims',".

In her often moving article, Ms. Walder left out a few important facts regarding the KLA for whose cause the Bytyqi brothers died. In 1998, State Department officials listed the Kosovo Liberation Army as a terrorist organization. The KLA was labeled as the "Vietcong of the Balkans," by Mark Almond, chairman of the British Helsinki Human Rights Group (BHHRG) in the British weekly Spectator of 3 April 1999. Marcia Christoff Kurop in The Wall Street Journal on 1 Nov. 2005, titled, "Al Qaeda's Balkan Links," reported that "For the past 10 years, the most senior leaders of al Qaeda have visited the Balkans, including bin Laden himself on three occasions between 1994 and 1996." It should be noted that this WSJ Eujropean report did not appear in the WSJ national edition for American consumption. Chris Hedges described the KLA's founders as "diehard Marxist-Leninists as well as descendants of the fascist military raised by the Italians in World War II," in a New York Times article of 28 March. See: "Crimes of the KLA, Who Will Pay?"

Albanian Mafia in the USA

Janes Intelligence Review POINTER of November 1995 writes of The Albanian cartel: filling the crime void. "During the past two years, more and more Albanians have been arrested in the USA - especially across the Northeast - and law enforcement officials believe they are linked to an increasingly well-organized crime presence. This is particularly evident in New Jersey, where, between 1994-95, Albanians have been arrested for widespread burglaries of supermarkets, bank telling machines and restaurants...

It has been these latter links which the authorities find especially disquieting. In Germany, for example, the Turkish mafia has offered Albania a conduit and infrastructure for drug trafficking into Western Europe. Algerians and Moroccans provide the kosovars with the opportunity to ship small arms and refugees to various ports via Rotterdamn."

The report further states: "Until recently, Albanians have worked for other criminal organizations (the mafia, for example) as couriers, mules and assassins, but during the mid-to-late 1980s, Albanians began to operate on their own. In the USA, the Pizza Connection Case of 1986-87 managed to disrupt a significant portion of the Sicilian Mafia's US heroin trade. The subsequent void left by the sting offered hundreds of small ethnic crime groups based in the tri-state (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut) area the opportunity to fill the void and conduct business for themselves. Concurrently, in the Balkans the rise of Serbian President Slobodan Milseovic and the beginning of the severe crackdown on Albanians in Kosova (sic) opened the door for an embryonic underground black market which now flourishes."

Of the war against terrorism, President Bush says, "You're either with us or against us." Therefore, how is it possible that we have aligned ourselves with Osama bin Laden's Kosovo Liberation Army?

With all this in mind, the Serbian people have had to face not only the Albanian mafia, the Kosovo Liberation Army, al Qaeda, the entire Islamic world, thanks to Iran, (see: Clinton-Approved Arms Transfers Help Turn Bosnia into Militant Islamic Base,) but also the pro-Albanian American lobby in Congress, the anti-Serb worldwide media and all of NATO. Let us not forget that 19 NATO members with approximately a 900 million population, bombed a sovereign nation of only 10 million that never harmed us.

Many in Congress are today striving to give Kosovo, Serbia's Jerusalem, seat of the Serbian Orthodox church, independence, in essence rewarding the Albanian Muslim mobs for eradicating any and all Christian Serbian presence and where much of the conniving was orchestrated right here in the United States by the Albanian mafia to send blood money to their brethren in Kosovo.

Stella's a prime example of what happens when you embrace a nutjob ideology so tightly that it cuts off blood to your brain.

We've been 6 years in Kosovo without any attacks on our troops like those we're seeing in Afghanistan or Iraq.

6 years and counting.

Why no attacks?

Because the Serb version of the KLA as Al Qaeda backed terrorists is simply a failed attempt to justify murder and ethnic cleansing by Milosevic's forces during 1999.

Meanwhile, it's been 6 years since the Bytyqi brothers were murdered by Serbian police, and no amount of prodding on our part will induce the Serbian authorities to address the matter.

6 years and counting.

Why no arrests?

Because the Serbs as of yet are still more interested in retelling tales of their victimization at the hands of others than in doing anything about the criminals in their midst who victimized others.

As the President said, and Stella quoted without understanding, "You're either with us, or against us."

A simple review of Serbian and American relations in the past decade suffices to illustrate which side of that equation Serbia is on.

Hoplite's a prime example of what happens when you embrace a nutjob ideology so tightly that it cuts off blood to your brain.

We've been 6 years in Kosovo with unhindered Albanian ndrug/arms trafficking near our troops like those we saw in 1970-early 90's Afghanistan.

6 years and counting.

Why no attacks?

to be continued...ligthening strikes are nearby...crack! boom!

Why no attacks?

Because the cowards of the KLA know that the Serb Army will wipe them from the face of the earth the moment they return to Kosovo (when, Hoppy, never if) and the only thing preventing that is the presence of NATO and NATO's willingness to protect their own enemies.

They aren't so stupid as to cut their own throats then, is that your entire defense? LOL!

Not that this is stopping them from being a training, supply, and pass-through point, mind you.

The KLA and their ilk are against us; we're just stuck with Clinton's Quagmire for a little while longer.

You fail to address the fact that Al Qaeda could give a rat's behind about the consequences of it's actions in regards to local populaces - there's proof enough of that coming out of Iraq on a daily basis.

Stella's thesis is that the KLA is related to Al Qaeda, which is complete BS - if anything, Al Qaeda would be more than happy to see the Serbs unleashed upon the region's Muslim populace yet again, as the Serbian disregard for standards of civilized conduct in warfare makes for such compelling recruiting material.

Meanwhile, for the rank and file, the KLA, once the Serbian army was gone, lost it's primary recruiting tool and raison d'etre.

Sadly, the contrast with Iraq is revealed only to those willing to open their eyes to see it.

Alas Lib, you're right inasmuch as there's no if as to whether or not the Serbian army will return to Kosovo, because we're pursuing a policy that's in America's interest, not the Serbian Radical Party's interest.

Stella Jatras is a true gem! I can almost hear the islamofascist apologists choking as they read her words!

As you and I both know, the Serbophobes and deluded American and European dhimmis dismiss Stella, her husband, and her son as "Serb apologists", "Orthodox extremists", and just plain Greeks, who as Greeks are deemed to be "biased". Thus, these people avoid choking on the Jatras' words, and also avoid facing the facts of their own complicity with the new fascism.

Note the involvement of Kerry, Holbrooke, and "General Jack D Ripper" Clark in KLA subversion in America. Standing behind the lot of them, of course, is George Soros. When I read this article, I'm doubly glad that I actively supported Bush in the 2004 campaign.

The "Pizza Connection" mentioned in the article has been replaced by the New York Albanian Pizza Mafia, which funnels money to the KLA!

That's because they are one and the same, you foolish rooster! LOL!

There, I've addressed it!

Hope to see you in Kosovo some day after the Serb Army returns. I will offer a toast as to the joy of both of us be alive to see it happen!

To your satisfaction, perhaps.

But making things up isn't going to win you any points with an intelligent interlocutor or audience.

Let us see Hoplite gag on the crow he swallowed..

Not that this is stopping them from being a training, supply, and pass-through point, mind you.

WE BUY BAG OF SEMTEX FROM TERRORISTS

Our 13.5kg haul of Semtex - in 108 sticks - is one of the biggest ever seized from terrorists and could have potentially armed 30 suicide bombers.

Posing as members of the Real IRA, we were also offered three shoulder-held missile launchers, an anti-aircraft gun, and enough machine guns, hand grenades and landmines to equip a small army.

We made our deal in Kosovo, a breeding ground for fanatics with al-Qaeda links.

Our contact was the deputy commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) Niam Behljulji, known as Hulji. The group were trained by Bin Laden's men.

Astonishingly, we met him under the noses of the British Army and UN forces - who remain as peacekeepers following Kosovo's bloody war with Serbia.

Hulji, is said to supply terrorists across Europe and has been accused of massacring Serbian women and children during the war.

He even posed grinning for a photograph, holding the severed head of one his victims.

Go ahead and list the attacks on our troops in Kosovo, the number of K-Albanians in Gitmo, or those reported killed in Iraq or Afghanistan.

You can repeat the fantasy as often as you wish, but if there's no actual proof behind it, it will remain just that - a fantasy.

What part of these words from the article do you not understand? So you like al-Qaeda that does not attack us directly? Being trained aby al-Qaeda and associated with them is ok as long as they don't shoot Americans? In Iraq and Afghanistan our armed forces have confronted Albanians and Bosnian Muslims.

What part of these words from the article do you not understand?

What part of the complete lack of real world evidence of any K-Albanian involvement in Al Qaeda's activities do you not understand?

In Iraq and Afghanistan our armed forces have confronted Albanians and Bosnian Muslims.

Feel free to back this up, and do everybody a favor and restrict yourself to reliable sources of information - no Dragomir Andan style BS, m'kay?

Meanwhile, here's a list of Gitmo inmates, which contains a grand total of one Bosnian and no Albanians, and here's an accounting of reported Al Qaeda deaths in Iraq, from Evan Kohlmann's globalterroralert.com site, which contains no Bosnians or Albanians.

So it's not a case of my being ok with "Al Qaeda which doesn't attack us directly", but a case of my not being Ok with your attempts to turn the K-Albanians or Bosnians into supporters of Osama Bin Laden, as if by simply repeating the accusation often enough you could impart some legitimacy to it.

There continues to be more British supporters of Al Qaeda than Bosnians and Albanians combined - and though your warped worldview would justify invading Britain, indiscriminately raping, looting, and murdering to your heart's content, you'd just get another stern talking to from the USAF for your troubles.

Take some time to try and figure it out, m'kay sport?

From the above ref. article: Our contact was the deputy commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) Niam Behljulji, known as Hulji. The group were trained by Bin Laden's men.

Is not being "trained by Bin Laden's men" qualify as being involved in al-Qaeda acitivities???

Who told the reporters that Hulji's men were trained by Bin Laden, and what supporting evidence is given for that assertion?

We told the KLA that any involvement with Al Qaeda would mean they'd get no help from us. To this day, the Albanians have held to their part of the bargain.

"varied" is not an acceptable alternative to "verifiable".

I see you've learned nothing from the Dragomir Andan Bosnia/Madrid episode.

Typical.
