BTW this story first hit the wires back in April. In German town, Benedict XVI known for love of cats, conversation
Great joke. I'll have to tell this to tell my husband tonight.
Perfect thread for the praying cat. LOL
...but Chico will never be nuetered....
Short-furred kitties don't seem to have a problem with hairballs. :) Mine doesn't.
I've had my best cat friend, Gus, for several years now and I've never seen him cough up a hairball. He's a shorthair, so maybe that has something to do with it.
Hmmm... mine has a bit of a problem with it. Has since I've had her, for about 2 years, 3 months. She tossed one just as I was waking up this morning. I give her the food that's supposed to help and some of the special treats.
She's been a big help. I wanted another pet, but didn't think a dog was practical. She's so much easier to take care of... and outside of the hairballs she's got almost perfect behavior except she likes to try to dart out the door.
But when I come home angry or depressed or tired how can I stay mad when my kit-kat wants to get her belly rubbed?
Vaseline, eh? OK. Thanks.
Yepper...it doesn't have to be the expensive stuff, either. I clip the claws then reward the nice kitty with her very own glob of vaseline. The cats seem to like the taste of it, and have no clue that it helps get rid of hairballs. (You can use it on dogs, too, as some breeds are very fastidious and will also get hairballs.)
where did you get this picture of the praying cat?
I love this Pope! I hate cats!
It's from albums v441, maybe somebody named shieldd, at the Photobucket site. You have to register to get on the site.
"Photobucket.com provides image hosting for Ebay, live journals, blogs, message boards, and online photo albums. Photobucket is reliable, fast and very simple to use. Give it a try"
Just right-click on the image, scroll down and click on properties, and it will show the host website.
thank you from me and my cats.
You're welcome from me and my cats, one of whom is not doing well at all. She's 20 and I fear I won't have her much longer.
I'm sorry to hear that. Losing a pet is painful. I bet the pope is praying for her. And of course, contrary to what I heard as a child, pets go to heaven!
