Frist praised Bush for reaching out to Democrats, saying that what the administration is doing "is pretty unprecedented if you look back in history. He is reaching out aggressively. He has contacted - he or his staff have contacted - over 60 United States senators, each of the members of the Judiciary Committee, over half or two-thirds of the Democrats."

Well, aren't we all just bustin our buttons with pride!

Nope, that's called abject stupidity and cutting off your nose to spite your face.

BS

It's lookin more and more like time for serious political revolt.

If it gets any worse it'll be time for armed revolt!

There aren't now, nor shall there be in your lifetime, enough people to make a fringe party viable/a replacement for the GOP.

You've NEVER been a staunch supporter of the GOP and/or President Bush, so this talk is just more of the same serial caller muck.

The ONLY people like you do, is, if there are enough of you, to insures that the Dems win. And THAT really is the act of the politically naive/babies with only enough knowledge to make them dangerous/the UNAPPEASEABLE dogs in the manger, who cut of their noses to spite their faces and then to revel in being miserable.

There were NO revolts, armed or otherwise, during Clinton's 8 years and there won't be one in the future. Your's just a bloviating armchair rabble rouser.

I agree. It's almost time for the voters to take back this country, if by force if necessary. People like Hiltery, Kennedy, Schumer ought to be put in a boat and told not to return, it's time for all those who call themselves muslim to be put in internment camps and then shipped back to the middle east, it's time for decent people in this country to act!

If President Bush has a propensity to nominate a Hispanic for SCOTUS who would be the best choice?

Don't let people who never get off their computers to actually go and work for the Republicans, ya know, go door-to-door, etc....tell you how to think or what to post.

How dare you say that we don't go door to door, etc. I am Vice Chairman of the Republican Party in my County and have walked as many precincts as anyone I know. That's why I know that Conservative Republicans are not doom and gloomers (d&g's) like we have on here -- we are positive people and believe our message will be heard. Every county in my State went for Pres Bush and can guarantee you they would do it again. Unlike some folks on here, they support the President and don't snipe all the time looking to upset others.

For a little background since 2000 -- I volunteered in last two Presidential campaigns for the national campaign, Governor's races in several states, two Congressional races, a tough, tough Senate race for Dr. Tom where I made thousands of phone calls not to mention working for my State Rep and my State Senator who I happened to do some contract research which outed his opponent for his "questionable" state contract.

Currently do work for our State Party in addition to being Vice Chair of the 3rd largest county. Also help out several Reps with research and you have the nerve to post inferring that someone like me sits behind a computer and doesn't know what it is to walk door to door! I don't know who you were under another screen name but I have kept my screen name since I came on here in early 1999 which sure predates you.

Above doesn't even include the work I do with a Republican political consultant from another State or all the campaigns I have been involved with prior to 2000. Next time you post such a ludicrous statement, you might want to check out the people you are talking about. Unlike some of the d&g's on here, there are lot of us that were very involved in the last Presidential race and local races that also post on here so that lurkers know the truth not the spin and lies we have been seeing recently.

Now you want to know what I really think? Sorry but if I posted, I might have to take a few days off.

Very well stated. Conservative black or Hispanic is going to drive the Dems right up a wall -- they will not be able to handle that! :)

I would love to see the President nominate Janice Rogers Brown -- I would be going around whistling with that nomination.

BTW -- One more thing -- I was gone this evening because I was at an Executive Committee Meeting of our Republican Women's Club as the past President. Anything else you want to know about someone who you declare just sits behind a computer and doesn't get involved?

You tell him, PKM!

And though I won't go into all of the national, state, and local campaigns I have been involved in, FOR FAR LONGER THAN YOU, OLD YELLOW, I suggest that you need to apologize ton PKM, and the rest of the people here, whom you stupidly impugned with your juvenile assumptions.

Could you tell I was irritated -- the nerve of him to make assumptions that we don't work in campaigns and only post on here -- don't recognize the name at all.

We should do a thread for those of us who kept our screen names all these years through the flame wars on here! :)

Leaking v. floating, this is nothing more than another liberal lie. Just because it made the AP wires does not mean one can write a story off it.

Kathy Hilton's inane comments on "I want to be a HILTON", are more relevant than anything ANY(other) democrat has to say..

Tune into the TV show... "feel" the crippling lameness..

yellowdoghunter is a WOMAN?

"Snarky" doesn't even begin to describe her. But IF i were to use the correct words, I'd be more than suspended; I'd be banned and she isn't worth it.
