Bill Cosby has drawn a good judge in Philadelphia.
Last March, in a civil lawsuit, Andrea Constand alleged that Cosby had drugged and groped her at his home.
Constand's suit also claimed that she had been contacted by 12 women who were willing to come forward and allege that Cosby sexually assaulted them in a similar manner.
Attorneys retained by nine of the women had tried to keep the names of their clients a secret for a host of reasons, one of which was fear of a deteriorating bipolar condition brought on by intense media scrutiny.
U.S. District Judge Eduardo Robreno rejected the anonymity arguments, ruling that if the female accusers wanted to accuse a public figure in public they would have to face the public themselves.
The judge wrote that the "allegations of harm by each of the Jane Doe witnesses are unsubstantiated broad allegations."
The Left Coast Report finds it curious that the allegations against Cos seemed to hit just after he spoke out against the so-called black leadership, offered some sound parental advice and told teens to clean up their language.
Yup. And I understand that a mental disorder is a very serious matter that can inflict hardship not only on the afflicted but also their loved ones. I admire the strength and courage of those who face it in their daily lives.
That doesn't stop me from injecting a little humor into my posts at their expense occasionally though. Perhaps that too is a mental disorder on my part.
Here! here! A sound thrashing of the spell checker would be fun to watch!

Over the last 10 months my wife has undergone a serious stretch of drug induced bipolar symptoms (mania and suicidal depression) several cult exposure induced psychotic episodes and a hip replacement surgery. If we weren't allowed to laugh I'd be a basketcase by now.
(She's greatly improved and continues to get better everyday . Her thought process is much much clearer than it has been and when those odd thoughts pop up she now recognizes where they come from. Physically she's doing great but can't put weight on the broken hip yet for another three weeks. Dr. wants the prosthesis to be firmly welded into the bone before she puts too much stress on it.)
A good book to read re: Toxic psychirity.
(Excellent case in point (sorry, I couldn't stop myself :^) ))
We've found that psychiatry works almost exactly like non-surgical neurology. Throw drugs at the problem until one works.
LOL, I always have trouble spelling that word, and I spell it so bad that spell check can't check it....lol
