LOL! Poor thing.
Yes, I'm sure it could have been worse, but then it could have been better too. LOL.
We are fortunate to have very little really bad weather here. It sure is hot though, but that's no surprise, it always is during this time of year. And actually, I love it, to a point.....and we are just about beyond that point. LOL
Hey, Mayor! Loved the "table" with you and your kids. It was great to see ya--nice looking family!

PING.
LOL.
You're welcome. I just love her site. She has some of the prettiest graphics I have seen anywhere on the internet. I believe she creates all of them herself. She's quite talented, I think.
The weather we have here does make life a little exciting and interesting, have heard that it builds character. Feels more like it's turning me into a character. lol
That's a perfect match. Everything looks great together.
Thanks.
Now I have to practice some more.LOL.
Hey Lady!
Are you home from **** now?
I want to see some of your tables and frames,so get going.;)
I feel like I am the only one here trying out the new things learned here yesterday and today.LOL.
Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts.
Yes, Billie, I broke my ankle Friday night by tripping over my portable sewing machine. What can I tell you, I was born a klutz.
Unfortunately the break is not as minor as the ER doc and the ER report led me and my family doc to believe. I go in for surgery Friday morning to have a plate put in..
I do not like hopsitals and I like needles even less, so I'm sure you can all imagine I am not looking forward to the pre-op blood work tomorrow orthe surgery on Friday. On the bright side - I really do like the orthopedist..he's got a wicked sense of humor.

Dear Gabz,
I will now put my portable sewing machine away. It has been sitting in the hallway for days. Thank you for the warning.
I will be thinking of you and wishing you well with your hospital experience. I hope your amusing orthopedist will keep you in stitches.

Thank you!!!!
Yes, please put the sewing machine away. Mine was on the floor in the dining room, next to the bathroom door (where I was heading) it was around dusk and I had not turned the light on and so misjudged where I was stepping.
This doctor is a piece of work, the nurse at the family doctor warned me yesterday about how much he likes to kid around - she was not kidding. at one point a gentleman came out ofthe back, with a woman in a wheel chair, with an obviously broken leg - he looked around, shook his head and said "My there's a lot of crippled people in here" and turned around and went back through the door from whence he came. My friend, who drove me, and I looked at each other in amazement.
A few minutes later, this same gentleman emerges as my name is being called and proceeds to start speaking ot me in French, with an Irish Brogue........At this point I figured he was one of the nurses or attendants...........Nope, he's the surgeon!!!!!
Thank you - I appreciate the prayers.
I'll be home on Saturday..thank goodness. And most likely fairly early because my surgery is scheduled for 8:30 Friday morning.
Hey, Mrs.N! They do make a person want fries for lunch, huh? That's not what I had today--but will before the week is over, I am sure. Your tables that I have seen on here today are really pretty. You're doin' good! Isn't it fun?
