The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

In fact, the proper mixing of the "chemicals" was botched and only the detonators blew . . . I'm glad these guys are morons. I hope they stay that way.

Ummmmm YUP. This was the second best outcome that we could get. The best thing that could have happened is for the stuff to go off (very unstable, right?) while it is being mixed. I knew a guy in my more formative years we all called "stubby" because he was one of those dope smoking anarchists who read the Anarchists Cookbook and decided to monkey around with making pipe bombs. He forgot to put grease in the threads one time and the static electricity or perhaps a spark produced by bumping metal together set one off in his hands and hence his nickname. He wasn't a close friend of mine, more of an acquaintance. But he was amusing, for a liberal activist, as he liked to paint himself.

CONFIRMED: Shoulder Fired Missile Incident at OKC Airforce Base

22 July 2005: On July 14, 2005, three individuals were observed outside of the perimeter of Tinker AFB, OK. They were looking through binoculars, taking pictures and one appeared to be holding a large weapon at chest level. The weapon appeared to be aimed towards a low flying aircraft. The three individuals were described as being of Middle Eastern decent and left the area when approached. The weapon was later identified as a rocket launcher (MANPAD) and the low flying aircraft to be a B-1 Bomber. FBI in Oklahoma City and AFOSI determined the threat to be credible and are investigating.
