There was a story here on FR after the Iraq election about some village that was told not to vote by terrorists. They voted anyway. The terrorists came back. The villagers killed them.

Didn't hear this story from Dan or Peter or Tom, though.

so why a bunch of swabbies in a land locked environment? Go figure ...

the four-man commando team found itself in the Afghan forests of Kunar province on June 28, maneuvering under low clouds and a drenching rain.

See there, maybe there were large bodies of water . . . .

What is the background of that photo from 2003? I have never seen that before.

This shepherd, his family, and his entire village should be given full U.S. citizenship. Right now, today. They've earned it.

Let's trade! We'll take the villagers and give up Sen. Dick Turbin!

A wonderful story, and one which belies the bigot's claim that Islam is a death cult, that this pious village should become a glass parking lot, ad nauseum.

It is a good read, but considering the MSM's penchant for making up truth out of whole cloth, I wonder just how accurate it is...

I'd like to see the shepard and his village "rewarded" with schools, public works, a very large police and military station (protection) etc etc .......
