Well apparently this guy's taking the position that we should all kill ourselves for some deity cause someone is written to have done it thousands of years ago.

Kookery at its worst.

"My challenge to all Jews and Christians: Show me in the Bible where GOD Almighty condemned the actions of Samson. "

Thou Shalt Not Murder

Samson killed in the palace of the enemy, killing those who ran the government.

Terrorists kill bus riders... the working man...

Ugh. Where to begin....

If he's willing to use the bible as an authority, he's already screwed. But that's not quite what he's looking for, so we'll skip that....

The question should be returned, questioning whether or not a suicide bomber would be biblically justified to release a suitcase nuke on Mecca during Ramadan.

After all, God approved of Samson doing it........

I'm not sure this is an arguement that is worthy of engagement.

The only question today is, "Is it okay to target innocent citizens going about their lifes?" The answer is no, end of story.

The allies do wind up wounding some citizens of Iraq. I'd venture to say we probably injured far less than the suicide bombers have. And their excuse for doing it, the U.S. is evil. Why is the U.S. evil? Among other things, it's because we injur Moslems.

The terrorists can't think their way out of a paper bag.

Let's let the people of Solomon's time figure that one out, and let the idiot terrorists own up to what they have done to (dis)honor Allah.

Remember, we're the ones who aren't supposed to honor Allah enough. Brother!

O God, please strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes."

Hmmmmm. Did somebody gouge the eyes out of the 9/11 hijackers?

how are the Palestinians today different from what Samson did before?
There is not enough bandwidth space for me to answer this question.

Interesting that an Arab Muslim would use this argument. Samson's victims were Philistines, i.e., Palestinians.

Samson was hardly an aggressor. When Samson committed his act of self-sacrifice, he was a prisoner in the enemy camp, the love of his life having betrayed him in a manner most foul. And he was not treated to orange-glazed duck and rice pilaf.

Oh. So it's okay for Muslims to read the Bible now?

Good.

The Philistines who died had had Samson brought in to mock his weakness and his blindness.

That's a fur piece from sidling up to a bunch of kids waiting outside a discotheque, or going on to a bus of working people, and blowing them and yourself up.

And having an accomplice who leaves a bomb for the rescue teams.

Did no one in your "huge debate" see a difference?

GOD Almighty wanted for Samson to take his own life and the life of his enemies with him. He willed for him to die this way. He could've simply willed for Samson to die on the spot after his enemies gouged his eyes for him. But no, instead, GOD Almighty decided for Samson to die while enabling him to take as many pagan Philistines with him as possible.

To imply that God "wanted for Samson to take his own life", and "willed him to die", when there's no supporting text in Scripture to back it up, I think, is wrong. There's no evidence that God wanted Samson to die, although the request was granted. There are numerous instances [in Scripture] of God granting requests or allowing things to happen that He hasn't willed.

"Note: I called him "Mighty Samson" because he was extremely powerful. He was far much more stronger than all men in his time."

BS.

Samson was not huge, not muscular, and not powerful. Why do you think the Philistines went to such great lengths (ala Delilah) to determine the source of his strength??? It is because no one who looked at him would consider him anything other than an average man.

So, Mr know-it-all islamofascist, UP YOURS!!!

When a Mohammeden spontaniously explodes as a response to prayer, I'll consider the possibility of divine approval of homocide bombing.

I just spent some time perusing that site. It is amazing what those freaks will read into something. Even if what they read is the true interpretation, they seem to have a natural over reaction to it and they run with the subject like fools. They also cannot seem to understand that many of these things were parables and four thousand years old. They just cannot get out of the dark ages.

I was just in a huge debate about this.. Wanted to get some freepers refuations of this also Thanks....

Go back and say something along the lines of, "Perhaps a little context is called for here. Let's go back and see what led up to Samson's actions. The Bible says, 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.....'"
