On July 7, 2005, terrorists attacked Great Britain’s capital city, killing dozens of people and injuring hundreds more. Targeting London’s mass transit system, the cowardly barbarians known as Al-Qaeda bombed tube trains and a double-decker bus in four locations around the city. The attacks took place over the course of about an hour’s time, beginning at 8:51 am between Aldgate East and Liverpool Street stations, and ending at 9:47 am at Tavistock Place.
Soon after reading about the bombings on an Internet AP site, I turned on my radio to listen for further updates about the atrocities. Within minutes of tuning into one of my favorite talk radio shows, I heard a liberal caller to the program state that we have to try and better understand what Al-Qaeda and other Islamic terrorist groups are all about, and what they want, if we’re ever going to stop such attacks from happening in the future. Of course, when questioned as to why he felt that way, he had no answer. This didn’t surprise me at all, since there is no good reason for us to waste our time trying to understand what motivates mass murdering Islamo-fascists.
All we need to know about these parasites is that they are hateful extremists from backward countries that refuse to enter the 21st century--or even the 16th century, for that matter. Attempting to understand more than that makes no sense whatsoever, because even if we could ascertain exactly what it is that people like Osama Bin Laden require of us before they’ll stop slaughtering innocent people, that knowledge would only be useful to us if we were willing to change who we are in order to appease them.
Of course, liberals seem to think that appeasing them is exactly what we should be doing. Why, if the United States could only be more like Spain, which immediately replaced its government with a communist regime following the terrorist attacks on Madrid in 2004, and then proceeded to pull its troops out of Iraq, things would be so much better than they are today. After all, it’s our presence in Iraq that is really getting under the skin of international terrorists these days. We need to just get out of there!
OK then, let’s take a quick look at that philosophical approach to ending terrorism. In the first place, if we did decide to abandon everything that our military men and women have fought for since the Iraq War began, humiliating each and every one them in the process, and throwing the people of that country to the wolves, what would stop Al-Qaeda from making even greater demands on us after that? I mean, we weren’t even in Iraq when they attacked our cities on 9/11, so that clearly won’t be a grand enough gesture of appeasement.
Let’s see, we were supporting Israel before September of 2001, so I guess the next thing we’d have to do is turn our backs on what was the only democratic free state in the Middle East, prior to Iraq and Afghanistan being liberated. And speaking of the Afghan people, we’d also have to hand control of their country back to the Taliban, since they’re all good friends of Osama, and of course, we’d need to refrain from lending future support to any pro-liberty movement in the region, like the one currently developing in Lebanon.
And still, even if we retreat entirely from the Middle East, it is unlikely that Al-Qaeda will be satisfied. At the end of the day, we’ll still be a predominantly Christian nation, with a democratic system of governance, and an economy based on capitalist principles. All that would simply have to change, since exhibiting the sort of independence that Americans are known for is truly arrogant, and unforgivably wicked in the eyes of Allah.
Do you see where I’m going with all this? While I’m sure that most of you liberals out there still have no idea what I’m trying to say, I pray to God that the good people of England are able to grasp the point I’m making here.
Our goal in fighting the war on terror is not to make our enemies like us. Perhaps one day their children or grandchildren will learn to accept the ideas of liberty and respect for other cultures, but the scumbags we face today will never be dissuaded from hating us and everything we stand for, no matter what we do. Our aim, like the aim of our ancestors who faced down the menace of Nazism a half century ago, is to wipe our enemies off the face of the earth...PERIOD

The theory of appeasing the enemies of our liberty is as dead as an Al-Qaeda suicide bomber. Trying to cut deals with individuals like Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi has never, and will never secure our freedoms. The only thing these monsters understand is relentless brute force, and it’s about time the free nations of the world stopped bickering with one another like a bunch of spoiled school children and started working together to preserve our way of life!
Like most of my fellow Americans, I have faith in the British people, and I’m confident that they will respond appropriately to the vicious and unprovoked attacks upon their country this week. That response should be to praise the courageous policies of their forward-thinking leader, Tony Blair, and to reaffirm their commitment to achieving victory against terrorists everywhere.
To do otherwise would be to exhibit weakness in the face of the worst kind of tyranny known to mankind. The world now looks to the citizens of Britain to show them how truly brave people deal with the adversities of war, and I pray they do not fail in that crucial task.
In the words of the greatest writer to ever hold a pen, “cry HAVOC, and let slip the dogs of war, so that this terrible action will smell above the earth, with rotting corpses, begging to be buried.” William Shakespeare understood that meting out justice is often a bloody affair, and his words should serve to remind us of that fact and spur us on as we contemplate the actions we’ll need to take in the future.

This bombing in London is a clear sign that things are going to get a lot worse before they get better. For us, but for our enemies too.
If there really are any "moderate" Muslims out there, they better start to take strong action. I think a further step, if such attacks continue or (God forbid) become commonplace, will be the wholesale internment of Muslims. In the UK and definately here, where we've got a lot more room to pen them up. I firmly think they are going to find that the perpetrators of the London assualt are British Citizens, either born or naturalized. That will put the lie to the idea of some kind of "national ID card" doing any good at all.
Sorry folks, I don't think we're going to stomach stuff like this like the Israelis have. I just don't think we will.

Even though we know what these thugs want, I'd be more than happy to accomodate them and hear what they want for the penultimate time. That is as far as I would go. After hearing what they want - no dissemination of their needs and wants of course - I would then go back to killing them.
Of course the brainwashed, treasonous leftists don't want us to stop at hearing what they want. They will want to extend their needs to fulfilling them. Fulfill their needs with a big KABOOM say I.
Carl Rove made a speech to a buch of Republicans recently and said those same exact words about the democraps and the response from the MSM and their cronies was to the effect that they wanted his head!!

Take the case of Kerry + Kennedy: for years they voted to cut military & intel spending but comes 9/11 they lead the charge of demanding WHY IT HAPPENED, with the intent to destroy Bush and then tie up the Management in all sorts in inquiries & commissions; I note how the secondary culprit, the Clinton Apointee in the Atty Gen office GORELICK got off almost scot free!!

As a Brit myself I have to say that Britain is already defying bombers! 500,000 people came out on sunday for the end of war celebrations at the mall and Buckingham palace. Not only that many still went shopping too although it was down ever so slightly.
What were the bombers motives? There was no election coming up such as there was in Spain which to be frank Alqueda won there! There was the G8 but what did that do; it just strengthened rosolve and did not affect it in any way, policies were still made . If it was to create panic then it has failed miserably as London is pretty much back to normal commuters, shoppers and even toursits have been shrugging the bombers off despite the fact that bomb alerts are going now all over the country!
But WHICH set of 'terrorists' did it?????

its amazing how this story has zero legs - it hasn't even been a week, and the US media has already buried it.
This is why I have the most awful premonition that America will be called upon once again, for the third time in less than 100 years, to save Europe from being overwhelmed by another form of fascism. They simply never learn, and I'm disappointed beyond expression in the British, whose liberalism has allowed these deadly termites to take root on their soil, while advocating their extinction as a proud nation.

Sometimes situations have to hit hard bottom before they turn around -- maybe the French can save Europe :-) with their 25% population of Muslims -- they could always start a draft and train them to kill themselves....:-) Such a totally SICK SITUATION. The liberalism of the world has generated another major war in the making and any that don't think it won't are living a lie -- just look at what it took to start WW2...so many similarities.

When are the royal republicans going to open their friggin eyes and see just what in the hell is happening in Washington? Saudia Arabian extremist Muslims attacked us and we are fighting extremist Muslim Iraqis, not Saudia Arabian extremist Muslim Arabs!
We are in Iraq for the OIL fields and to protect Israel! This crap about saving the Iraqi people from Saddam is straight, unfiltered Republican political bullshit. Saddam's a murderer but not the one we, as America needed to be concerned with. bin Laden is the one we need to go after with all of our resources. If we cross a few borders without official permission doing it, tough knookies. We'll get permission when the job is completed.
The Iraqi Muslims didn't come to us for help. We went over there and said you will accept our help. Freedom wasn't a common word spoken there. I am getting tired of the Iraqi Muslims whining about us killing civilian Muslims but never saying a word when one of their own, ie. Saddam was the executioner.
Now Iraqi Muslims are seeing just what freedom is they love it, except their religion doesn't permit freedom as we know it. We are trying to alter an entire culture and this isn't something that can be done in a decade nor in one generation.
This is not a war that will see a quick conclusion until we decide that it is a war by extremist Muslims against Jews and Christians. The solutions is expelling all Muslims from our soil. When the Brits do the same then they will get my support from terrorist attacks. When we and they take off these damn kid gloves and start fighting with our bare knuckles that's when I'll believe we want to win. Until then we're just killing off good American soldiers without any gain for America.
Don't think I am ranting with a hate for Arabs because in the United States, roughly 60 percent of America citizen Arabs are Christians. Think a bit further and you'll understand that I hate Muslims because they want to kill us infidel American Jews and Christians. I refuse to get cozy with my enemies, never will either. My tolerance for terrorist Muslims who qualify as extremist Arabs flew out the door a few years ago.
GITMO isn't my answer either. Locking them in a pen like mad dogs doesn't make me comforatble. We keep releasing them in small groups to attack us again. That's real smart, isn't it? If they are in fact guilty, then give them a military trial and execute them. Their death is the only true solution for me.
