Mom, Aunt Charged After Kids Found Drunk, Smoking Pot

A 35-year-old Colorado Springs woman who allegedly let her five children drink and smoke marijuana with her at home is facing felony charges, along with her 39-year-old sister.
Police said the children, aged 9 through 16, were drunk and vomiting when officers found them Saturday night. Police said the 9-year-old could quote the amount of alcohol in each drink and knew about a cure for hangovers.
Jerianne Garcia and her sister, Melissa Collins, have been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
State law allows parents to serve their children alcohol at home but police said it's illegal to allow them to reach dangerous levels of intoxication.

9-year-old could quote the amount of alcohol in each drink and knew about a cure for hangovers. Now if she'll start working on a cure for the common cold we'll be all set.

So, what is the cure for hangovers? Three that I have learned over the years:
1) Continue drinking/stay drunk
2) Don't drink at all or stop after 2, then switch to water.
3) A 3 mile run as soon as you awaken. This purges toxins from your system, brings more fresh air (oxygen) into your system. Also works off the sugars you ingested from the drinks.

I am flabbergasted in reading the latest stories of kids who are killed and how the parents are either out all night partying or home drunk and/or stoned. Anyone who wonders how the freak in Idaho managed to subdue the mother, her boyfriend, and the 13 year old should remember that the two adults had meth and marijuana in their system.

Have a meal and take an Alka Seltzer prior to your first drink.
Before bed, or gutter, take additional Alka Seltzer and awaken next day, hopefully, hangover free.

Go past the survival shop on your way up the flight line and ask them for a couple hits from a walk around bottle of O2. They keep (at least they used to) a bottle charged up just for that kind of situation.

So, what is the cure for hangovers? One glass of water/gatorade for every drink, before you go to bed. Take a vitamin B-complex before you go to bed. With all that water, you will wake up to take a wiz during the night. When you do, have a glass of water and two motrins.
Come 8am you won't have a hangover (assuming you were asleep by midnight).

Yes, that works too. But not everyone at home has a bottle of O2 on hand.

But not everyone at home has a bottle of O2 on hand. I know - I sure don't have one - but that's why you go by the survival shop on the way to your hangar.
Yeah, yeah, I know, not everyone works on the flight line. That's a pity - everyone should twist wrenches for at least a little while. :)

"How do you manage to run 3 miles with a hangover?"I couldn't run 3 mile without a hangover. I certainly wouldn't try it with one.
