Despite the enormous hype surrounding Edward Klein's scathing and hearsay-filled book about Hillary Rodham Clinton, the author has been ignored by all but two television talk shows.
This collective cold shoulder hasn't stopped "The Truth About Hillary" from hitting No. 2 yesterday on the coveted New York Times list. "It's the biggest example to date of how major media censorship doesn't stop a book anymore from being a bestseller," Klein declares.
....
"It's just been a total blackout," says Klein, adding that talk radio and some Web sites, including the Drudge Report, have driven sales of the book. "I definitely think there's something organized going on here."
Clinton spokesman Philippe Reines says Klein "didn't even rate a full 15 minutes of fame on national television" because the book is "full of blatant and vicious fabrications."
....
Klein says that MSNBC's Joe Scarborough and Chris Matthews, CNN's Paula Zahn, Fox's John Gibson and ABC's "Good Morning America" were among those who had tentatively booked or expressed strong interest in him, only to drop him like a hot potato. "I can't prove this," he says, but "the Hillary people" have told the networks "she would be mightily displeased if I got on."

I bought it and am about halfway through the book.
Everything is documented with footnotes. In fact, you can't go a page without a reference to a footnote to back up what Klein has written.
Hillary must never become President.
:)
Some people think they are going to breeze through it :) It isn't that kind of book. We have included MUCH original research in there, not just secondary stuff, esp. after you get into the 20th century!
Cool. Also check out Gastaud's book, "Faith of the Founders." We did not get that one in our notes.
For what it's worth, EVERY publisher passed on our book (including Regnery, because from what I heard they got word a couple of years before ours came out and signed Woods to do his "quick and dirty" Politically incorrect Guide). We only got two bids, one from a very small publisher and one from Klein's publisher, Sentinel. Boy, do those publishers wish they had a "do-over" on that. The average book sells about 2-5,000 copies.
Thanks, I will. I know I will not be the only one or the first, but people want source material on this subject.
The erosion of the Constitution and our ethical foundations is frightening.
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my miscellaneous ping list.

LOL!
suddenly we find a free Boston Glob on our driveway every morning - I secretly read it then throw it back out on the driveway again so the guy can see a pile growing...then I will leave him a note to take the trash away...
I hope Mr. Klein knows where his cat is at all times. And tell him to stay away from Marcy Park.
HAAAHAHAHA!!! GREAT idea! I'll have to remember it the next time the DeEEtroit Free Press tries tp give us free newspapers again. BUMP!
You misspelled it. It's the "Gay Press". ;-)
I read this book, and there isn't much in it that hasn't been told in other books, even some of them by obvious Hillary fans. The truth is the truth about this creature, and for them to say Ed is lying is ludicrous! Then so were all of the other authors who wrote about her! Obvious bias is at work here, and it is just disgusting beyond words. Kitty Kelly's book trashing the Bush's was very popular on the networks wasn't it?
