"'Valarie Plame should resign for sending her husband to Niger to cook intelligence. She and he are a disgrace.
A pair of glory hounds putting their own stardom ahead of the country.
They belong in the Rosenberg wing of the Traitor's Hall of Fame.'"
The question also remains, were they working for a foriegn government or just the DNC?

I've read in various sources that Wilson was a Republican prior to this whole mess - what gives? And as I understand it, he was given his job originally by Bush Sr. GHWB wasn't in the habit of giving full-on Democrats significant jobs, was he? As I understand it, Joe Wilson was a mid-level diplomat in 1990, and was elevated to Ambassador of Iraq (during the Kuwait invasion) when a previous Ambassador apparantly resigned. (?)
While he was apparantly approved by Bush 41-GHWB, I don't believe that makes him a "full-on" Republican, as you indicated.
Federal election records indicate Wilson donated big bucks to AlGore during the 2000 election, and to various Democrats since.
Check out this summation by a Wash Times employee, who seems to know many details of the whole sordid affair.

So much damage from this leak!!! Plame was pictured in Vanity Fair recently. I guess her ability to do her job is really critical to her, since now she can't even travel in alias. This is much ado about absolutely nothing.

Does anyone here remember that Valerie Plame made a contribution to Al Gore's campaign in 2000 giving not only her name but the name of her CIA front company where she claimed she worked?
Why in the hell are active CIA officers even allowed to make campaign contributions are active duty military allowed????
This woman is too obvious and dumb to be a covert spy or any other kind of spy especially if she got her husband to be named to that Niger mission.
Also it came out I think in Wilson's own book that about the second time they slept together she told him she worked for the CIA. Is this woman that easy for the bedroom and that anxious to give away secrets?
She has absolutely no business being in the CIA or any sensitive intelligence post whatsoever.

It would be hard for me to envision Rove blowing an active CIA agent's identity. If he did it, he seriously screwed up.
I could see him talking about 'an anonymous' agent. That would be more believable and is what I believe probably happened. The MSM (never known to have a hard on against (R)s before LOL), wants Rove bad, and will do anything... ANYTHING to get him.

Active Duty can make campaign contributions just like any other citizen. The limitation on them is showing up at campaign events or political protests in uniform.
