I can just about guarantee you the reason this illegal wanted to buy this property was because it was cheaper than renting.

This is not the ONLY way illegal aliens are buying houses. They are also:....

Yes and let's not forget the real estate agents, loan officers, and banks, who will use them just like the coyotes do.

You left off another way they're buying houses. Unlike legal residents and citizens, these folks can use utility payment and rental receipts to establish credit. Can you say drug running, or other activities to pay these insane mortgage payments? Where I live, the landlords are turning a blind eye, in the new part of town even, as to how many people are cramming into a 3 bedroom house. Average rent? 1200.00 a month.

Sounds exactly like the Democratic mantra.

Don't start, because you don't know the whole story. I'm not going into it, but don't start on me. No, I'm not a Democrat, but what I wrote is what I meant. Let it go.

Meanwhile, Americans cannot own land or a home in Mexico.

This was an email, iirc. The text was in regards to comments made by the Governor of Colorado. I agree with the statements made by this governor.

You are exactly right -- forgot about that angle. Yes, I know how many they can get in one house. I know a LOT of things I don't write on here. I'm sick of it all. If I tell, I get burned -- not one person would help me. I have even been sharply criticized and basically told to shut up at church about illegal immigration and how it is harming this nation. Just leave me alone. Good night.

Hell we can't even afford to rent, and the extra time the landlord gave us is running out. I spent all afternoon scouring online ads in surrounding holes in the desert, and apparently BFE is now a suburb of Palos Verdes. We aren't roomate friendly. My bf breeds snakes as a hobby.

Word hasn't got out yet in Mexico City that a man's house can become a WalMart parking lot at the drop of a dime.

It's not Walmart that's going after people's homes - it's liberal mayors. Let's get our facts straight.

Rush Limbaugh spoke about that mindset some time ago. He said that state lotteries are perfect Democratic institutions, for they teach people the hopeless idea that anyone who is successful is so because of luck alone, and there's nothing anyone can do to get ahead, not by studying or working, but just by sharing the wealth of others. So don't go out there and try to make something of your life, as the powers that be have it all stacked against you. No, just sit back and relax, and wait for Lady Luck to smile upon you!

I'm sorry ya'll are having a tough time. I know this is not the forum for that, but I think more here are having difficulties than let on. Gas is sky high for no real reason. That makes prices go up. We have to follow all of the rules to rent and/or own or get healthcare while the illegals break almost all of the rules and get everything given to them at our expense. It's insanity. I've got to go. Take care and hang in there.

Since the house was purchased was obtained by criminal activity the government should seize it.

And what happens when state and local governments sieze the property from the federal government stating that the Feds should not profit from a crime that they were a party too.

This is going to get interesting...

You know, when I was younger, illegals didn't bother me. I've lived next door to 20 people in a small house, with chickens running in the front yard. I was too busy with my own life to comprehend that they were getting a free ride regarding schools, food stamps, and health care. You or I try and ask for help, and see what happens.

I don't go around hating them, but I sure do hate the mess they're making. Keep your chin up Mene, and learn to make tamales and bedspreads. :/ (I'm thinking of raising cats for sale)

Those people at your church who think you should "shut up" about illegal immigration? Tell them to read "Immigration and Nation, a Biblical View," by John C. Vinson. It's available from American Immigration Control Foundation, (540) 468-2022. It's a booklet that lays out, with numerous Bible verses, why Christians should oppose illegal immigration.

"Is it time to throw in the towel yet?"

To make matters worse, in many areas if they are seventy or over they'll pay no property tax.

This is great news for people who have ruined their credit. All they have to do is apply for an ITIN in the name of Javier Sanchez, set up a new identity around it and start applying for credit cards. May as well set up several identities while they're at it: you never know when you'll need the next one.
