As far as wanting to buy land and live here, well hell, there are about 6 billion people on the planet who want to do that. I don't want any of them here. The country was settled long ago, and the people who have come here since the 1960's changes in immigration law are simply freeloaders. Or worse, when it comes to the illegals.
None of them had anything to do with the country and its settlement, they would simply like to plop down where it's comfy, since it's not so comfy where they came from. Usually due to the existence of people like themselves.

In the case of COSCO, it appears that Peter Lichtman's ruling essentially granted an exemption to the law, where he willfully ignored evidence that COSCO was in fact a front for the ChiCom government.
