Ask some of your local real estate agents about this mess. Illegals can actually get special loans/privileges that we can't. Like Contract for Deed with interest only or NO PAYMENTS for up to three years with the interest becoming the downpayment. So the real estate agents doesn't get paid until the loan is signed three years later. No commission.

The real estate people say that the illegals move in, tear the place up, then move out and on to another.

Exactly what they do when they rent apartments and let all their relatives and friends move in. They move out in the middle of the night when the place is so trashed even they can't stand it anymore. Quick change of false documents, and they can't be found to sue for repair of the extensive damages or rent. This is one reason apartment owners charge such a high "cleaning fee", although that fee doesn't even begin to cover the mess they make.
