Some refer to the perpetrators of this latest horror as "an unknown group." But there is nothing mysterious about the background of the London atrocities. First, and foremost, there is nothing secret, unknown or hidden about the prime source of financing for the terrorists: Saudi Arabia. As the leading Saudi human-rights activist, Ali al-Ahmed, of the Washington-based Saudi Institute, puts it, "all the roads lead to Riyadh." The Saudi kingdom continues to channel money and recruits to terror operations in Iraq and everywhere else that al Qaeda, its allies, its imitators and other supporters strike. Saudi clerics, devotees of the cult known to its critics as Wahhabism, continue to preach jihad against the world, targeting non-Wahhabi Muslims as well as non-Muslims. |

Yep, we never had a relationship with Saudi Arabia before Bush came along and had this "love child", yep, after all those Republican and Democrat congresscreatures have been pushing SO hard for us to stop dealing with the Saudis, building new refineries here, opening up new drilling, yeah, all Bush's fault, Clinton, Bush 41, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, had NOTHING to do with our involvment with the Saudis, not to mention our oil consumption--you've never used a drop of Saudi oil in your life, I bet, and neither have the anti-war/DU crowd.
Yeah, ALL Bush's fault, he's the one person we can blame for all of it. /so

All the Presidents you mentioned were pre-9/11. Now the Saudis were supporting terror long before 9/11, but 9/11 should have been a turning point.
So yes, post 9/11, it's Bush's fault.
Violence, murder, beheadings, terrorism - all are the fault of those who would perform such acts. Islam not only permits this violence, but requires it, and it has thus become a handy tool for the wealthy and for those who wish to remain in power, just as it was a tool for Muhammed. Nothing has changed.
Well, then, it's as plain as the nose on my face, we must devise a way to deprive the Saudis of their funds, without seeming to "envy" their wealth.
I've got it!
Invade Saudi Arabia, kill anyone who resists and militarize every oil field.
Create a 200 mile buffer soze where any living thing which approaches will be shot on sight, no questions asked.
Make sure that all future shipments are paid for to a special fund.
Divide the money proportionally (by population) among all sub-saharan countries.
Two birds with one stone.
This is not going to end pretty.
I hope it ends with us turning Riyadh into a gravel pit and seizing the oil fields of the Eastern Province. We'd also need to freeze all the Saudi assets in this country and reassign their Treasury notes to some future democratic "Republic of Arabia."
I wonder how many royals would retain their heads if they became penniless and powerless overnight?
Reverse some British folly and bring peace in the Middle East closer.
Depose the Saudis. Return the Hashemites to their ancestral home- Arabia. (The Hashemites are the most sane of the Arabs- mostly because they think themselves British).
With the Hashemites in Arabia- happy with all that oil wealth- Jordan becomes immediately, with any popular vote- the "Palestinian" state.
As long as we still get to blast the mullahs and princes to the moon!

I agree completely. There were never any evil Islamic facists that hated Americans and wanted to kill us before Bush became President. We can't blame the terrorists that murder innocent civilians. It's all Bush and Blair's fault. /sarcasm
