My step-father is a practicing Buddhist, with Taoist leanings. I have chosen the Sufi path, on which I have been walking for over a dozen years. The initial lure of this path was the ecumenical nature of it, including practices from all of the world's traditions as an acknowledgement of the unity of all religious and spiritual ideals. I married a fellow Sufi, who grew up in the Unitarian Universalist Church studying Norse Mythology, and who has subsequently become a Muslim. When our son was born a year ago I discovered some of the inescapable bonds to my Judaism, which I am currently exploring.
This is fantastical, especially considering it started with this...
Growing up in atheistic household, I am always amused at how spiritually I define myself, and how diverse the spiritual influences of my childhood truly were.
In fact, it is nothing but a fantasy world where the medium of infinitization is a pantheon of phantasms, one cascading lie after another... Who is the prince of phantasms in the kingdom of air and darkness?
uh, yeah, that's a mark to shoot for. i wanna be that...right...

News Flash: Many churches have bought into this phoney baloney.
WHOA!! I was holding my breath til I saw the name. My cousin is also a prof at this college and she would have fit the agenda here. We haven't spoke since the 2000 election. When I'm counting my sins at night - I feel badly about it - but sometimes the enemy within can be close.
I think she should explore why nutburger college "professors" are fascinated with making enemies of normal Americans.
Oh I do...when they send me stuff I send it right back with a cross note.

This lady sounds like she is disintegrating as we speak.
I passed this on to talk show host Lars Larson, and he said he appreciates it and it sounds like he will talk about it on his talk show.
I emailed Lars Larson and he just talked about this and plugged Freerepublic for like 3 minutes. Freerepublic is getting a lot of attention on his show. He also said to the listeners he will send the link to any listeners who want it.

I took this class and found it very informative. It teaches one to see others as human and to treat others with respect. You seem like a reasonable person who would share these values. It concerns me that you are a parent, prepared to "ping" a professor because you are threatened by their ideology. Academia is a place where students are encouraged to think freely, critically, and for themselves. Diversity in thought is what ensures the survival of a culture of people. Thank you
