But Iran understandably fears Israel's second-strike capability.

Hmmm, without New England and Berkely, "W" would get his 60 votes in the Senate.

Is this a plan or what?

dont think the guys with the finger on the trigger give a rip - strapping on a bomb or launching a nuke - they dont care death is easy for them.

This is something that I think is worth being concerned about. I do think that the Mullahs in Iran will finally be deposed by a younger and less-islamist more pro-western generation. Hopefully this happens *before* Iran gets workable nukes.

If it is after, I have no doubt whatsoever that the Mullahs would lauch on Israel as their last great act of the faith, as the crowds came pouring into the palace.

They would martyr their entire population if given the chance. They seek it. They want it. It is indeed the *only* thing they want.

Death for others is easy for them. I have yet to hear of a Mullah strapping on a suicide bomb.

There is no strength left in the world of men.
The West is weak, we do not have the mettle to obliterate our Muslim foes.

Some of us are still here in the West. Waiting...and carefully watching.

This is but one more tiny step towards Israel declaring war on Iran if they continue to explore building nuclear devices. What would the UN do? Nothing; no nation on the planet wants to get between these two folks. Not even Russia.

It is a shame that we continue to leave Israel out on the ledge as they fight our war. We try to excuse it, claiming that this is a matter between them, but the other side figured out that Us vs Them means that the entire world is on the Them side.

Enough. Put US troops side by side with our Israeli friends. And when we're attacked, bomb the hell out of anyone stupid enough to smile, much less cheer.

Israel obviously needs more land area. Something, say, about the size of Syria.

The question is: How many do we need to send to erase Iran?

ISLAMOFASIST ain't RATIONAL.

If we get nuked Iran will be glass and so will N Korea.

The world will change in just a few hours.

Exactly, that is the type of 'scorched earth fanatics' that we are dealing with. And the socialists here the U.S. are more than willing to do the same thing if they are given the chance to do it.

Am sure they would have zero problems doing it. Dont assume they are sane. Do you think Saddam would have done it if he could have ?

aLSO THEY ARE GETTING OLD AND MAY WISH THEIR LEGACY TO BE THE DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL

Won't work since Iran has been preparing for it and has put much of its capability in deep tunnels that our satellites can't peer into.

We've given the Israelis our nuclear bunker-buster research.

Plus, Iran would have every legal right to send missiles at Israel's nuclear reactor at Dimona.

Yeah, I guess if you believe that the terror masters in Tehran, who daily espouse the destruction of Israel, are morally equivelant to a free country who has only acted in self defense.

"We've given the Israelis our nuclear bunker-buster research."

First of all, no way Israel is going to open the nuclear genie bottle for a preemptive strike like that.

Secondly, it doesn't matter what weapons we use if we don't know where the nuke facilities are located. Considering that our intelligence agencies were unable to correctly answer whether Iraq had WMDs at all, I very seriously doubt we know where Iran's are located. They no doubt wait until no satellites are overhead or for cloudy weather to move stuff.

Obviously REFORM is a joke and not going to happen in Iran. So are options are limited. I say a conventional strike just as Iran constructs it's first nuke.

Israel will have to eliminate Iran's nuclear threat on her own. Time is not on her side. The country must not wait while the danger draws ever closer and the threat of nuclear annihilation stares her in the face. Israel must act whatever the unpleasant fallout in world public opinion. Better thousands of scathing words for the living Jewish State than praise for a corpse in a cemetary.

Umm, we are Israel's ally, if Iran tried something like this, we would turn their cities into radioactive glass.

Then I would tell Israel to get a Nuke Sub and arm it with many multi head nukes all aimed at Iran. Stay at sea and always be ready. Iran would bring on their own destruction this way. I'm sure Israel already has these things and don't need my advice.
