TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's Defense Ministry has determined that Iran could destroy the Jewish state with two atomic bombs.
Officials said the ministry and the Israel Defense Forces have conducted simulations of an Iranian nuclear attack for damage assessment and response. They said authorities have determined that two nuclear bombs that explode in the center and north of Israel would destroy most of the population and all vital infrastructure.
The assessment was issued at a conference on Iran and its nuclear program. Deputy Defense Minister Zeev Boim said two Iranian missiles tipped with a nuclear warhead could destroy Israel. Boim said even one nuclear weapon could cripple the country.
"This is a real existential threat," Boim said in an address to the Academic College in Ashkelon on May 24.

But where would the Palestinians live if Iran did that? Oh, I forgot, no one in the Muslim world really cares about the Palis except as a propaganda tool.
Methinks if Iran did this, Israel (with its dying breath) would take out Tehran, Damascus, Cairo, Beirut, Riyad, and (oh yeah) Mecca and Medina too. It might even target Islamic population centers in Europe for good measure (especially those in France).

OK, but I hope they realize that they will also eliminate all of "Palestine" and parts of Jordan and Syria as well. It's not like nuclear radiation remains exactly where it explodes.
Did they notify the Iranians too? What, they used Apple II to figure that out? What's the purpose of this startling announcement?

Great! Notice how quiet that a@*hole has been! Why isn't he going to Iran to do a "movie"? How about a spoof on the Mullahs? ha. ha. I'd love to see them put out a contract on him after that.

Won't work since Iran has been preparing for it and has put much of its capability in deep tunnels that our satellites can't peer into.
They could bomb the plutonium enrichment plant at Bushehr, but that would do nothing to hinder the uranium enrichment elsewhere. Plus, Iran would have every legal right to send missiles at Israel's nuclear reactor at Dimona.
The Israelis have 2 or maybe 3 nuclear armed submarines I believe. They have stated that they will not only retaliate against the country that directly attacks them, but against any countries that encouraged the attack. That's just about the entire middle east.
Guys, all the U.S. has to do is take out the Malahs, which are hated by most of the rest of the Iran population.
Remember, Iran is a tyranny, the actions of the country's leaders do not reflect the opinions of most Iranians.

(sarcasm) Unfortunately that would probably also include parts of New England and the Left/West Coast. ;p
