Maybe it's time FINALLY to go and get Osama? Remember Osama? Anybody? Anybody?

I was lectured on Freerepublic that I was supposed to "feel safer" because we captured Saddam -- even though there's no evidence that he was behind 9-11. Osama is the guy that Bush promised to get "dead or alive" -- but four years later, he's still out there, free as a jail bird.
Maybe it's time to refocus on the mastermind and culprits who were behind 9-11?
Prediction: I'll get flamed as a "DU provacateur" for advocating that we go after somebody who killed 3000-plus people on American soil.

Some "war on terror," when the terrorists can walz right in from Mexico or Canada. Almost four years now, NOTHING NADA ZERO ZILCH. It's very hard to control thousand miles or more of land border. So it appears that instead have stuck our CBP and CIA at all sea and airports of entry throughout N.A..
It's worked so far.

The only ones who predicted it were some generals who said Rumsfeld needed to send in many more troops - and they were either told to shut up or they quit. Wrong bucko. Document with direct quotes any general asking for more troops and being turned down by Rumsfeld.

What makes you think the Military, Intelligence Community and the President isn't focused on Bin Laden. The Media?
Osama is still top priority. You mentioned Mr. Goss. Here's a lesson for you Intelligence isn't always exact it's an art utilizing science. It's not 100%, hell we are still gartering up war criminals in Bosnia 10 years after we went in!
Remember earlier this week of the SEALS and SF guys getting killed in Afghanistan? What do you think they were doing...Site seeing?
I am a retired MSgt and I am irked that I am now a spectator this time around, but what really pisses me off is when I listen to people who question the military roles in priority in the WOT!

Wrong bucko. Do your own homework. Like I said, pay attention before you go spouting off and quit making things up.

"His country was poorer than dirt. "
For being poorer than dirt, Saddam sure had plenty of royal palaces.
"He didn't have WMDs -- as Bush has publicly said. "
I will point you to what even the DEMS said prior to President Bush first term.
Oh yeah, you don't like being reminded of such things.

Osama isn't your biggest terror threat.
Your nearest mosque is.

It shows how juvenile my opponents are. Actually, it shows how little credibility you have on this site.

So what does licking the boots of people like Michael Moore get you?
Free tickets to his movies?

I think he's a Ward Churchill buff."""
You don't make much sense, do you? Ward Churchill is a FAN of Osama Bin Laden - - that was the point of his ugly essay about "chickens coming home to roost on 9-11" I want Osama captured and punished (executed) for killing thousands on American soil. That hardly makes me an "appeaser" or a "Chamberlain" --- except in the minds of the laughably logic-deprived folks who are flaming me on this thread. Imagine, getting flamed for wanting Osama Bin Laden dead. Are all these flamers Islamofascists who love Osama? You'd think so.
To: churchillbuff
LOL.
You insulted the military every chance you got last year.
You preached the mantra of cut and run.
You parroted the DU line of "The Presidents daughters should enlist."
And now you try to, as per your script, play the martyr.

The sputtering anger in your posts. you come off like the sputtering angry sheriff in the Bugs Bunny cartoons. Sounds like your nerves have got you. You really could use some rest!
To: churchillbuff
It's not like Osama isn't in the midst of thousands of followers and supporters.
This will take time, but I am sure that our efforts will be stepped up.
I say we go back into those mountains again on the Afghan/Paki border.

You posted this just to get a response. You're bored and you wanted to be entertained.
The keywords are hilarious.
Predictions: I won't flame you, and bin Laden will be captured, or (preferably) killed in your life time.

Downed US Seals may have got too close to Bin Laden
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1439883/posts
According to former special forces officers and other military sources, the four-man Seal strike team may have come too close to one of the US-led coalitions highest-priority targets perhaps Mullah Muhammad Omar, the former Taliban leader, or even Osama Bin Laden, the leader of Al-Qaeda. Other military sources suggested the target was a regional Taliban commander suspected of links with Al-Qaeda.
