I did a search and didn't find this title. At any rate, this is required reading. Abuse of power is THE reason we don't want another Clinton in the White House, but sadly it is the least understood. This article, for the most part, makes the argument quite well.

The reason for the qualifying "for the most part" is that there's no mention of the Clinton Justice Department's harrassment of The American Spectator. That aside, there's plenty of good evidence presented.

This article sounds like it is from Hillary's Secret War by Richard Poe, published in 2004. If so, it includes many references to Jim Robinson and the early days of FreeRepublic.com. The poster is correct. It is required reading.

I especially appreciate the moderate tone and style of this article -- no rapid attack dog fangs -- which actually makes the facts of the article stick.

... Mainstream Republicans have proved just as reluctant as mainstream Democrats to look deeply into the secrets of Mena airport....

This is the most important line in the story.
There's a reason for this.

Did the Clinton hacks also go after the Centre for Western Journalism (Worldnetdaily)?

"How Clintons took control of federal law enforcement."

The DA Massacre...Clinton's firing of all US Attorneys, followed by his replacement of all the Inspector General positions with the federal government, pretty much guaranteed that Clinton wouldn't get convicted of anything.

When you throw in such trivial positions as those within the Travel Office...as they destroyed Billy Dale, it was obvious that they were not going to leave any stone unturned.

From the DEA to his attempted appointment of a criminal to the highest law enforcement position in this country (Web Hubbel/AG), Clinton created one of the most impregnable walls in modern US history...without a peep from this media; the same media that has the nerve to call the Bush administration the most secretive.

Funny how we never heard of any of this crap, but Bush gets accused of things he didn't even do.

The first phase of the Clinton coup came on March 23, 1993. Only 11 days after becoming attorney general, Janet Reno called her first press conference to announce that she was firing all 93 U.S. attorneys and replacing them with Clinton loyalists.

Just imagine the media's reaction to this outrageous move if it has been done by George Bush! They would have freaked and demanded he be impeached.

Richard Nixon left office in disgrace for so much less than the things these two despicable creatures did in one day!

Hey murdoog:

I think with the London bombings a lot of people missed this.

I found it over at WND and searched and came up with your post.

Maybe it should be reposted again...

Great read.

Phase 3 of the Clinton coup finished the job. The Clintons proceeded to defang the federal judiciary. Between 1994 and 1998, they appointed seven new judges to the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C. – all Clinton cronies. The new appointees nicknamed themselves the "Magnificent Seven" – a name that stuck until the Clintons appointed an eighth member to the team in 1998.

And that may be why Judge Brown is needed in that court, and may be skipped for the Supreme.

GGrrrrr, this is making my skin crawl and blood boil, much the same way I felt while reading "Unlimited Access" by the former FBI fellow, Gary Aldrich.

After reading stuff like this, you feel so....violated.

The reason for the qualifying "for the most part" is that there's no mention of the Clinton Justice Department's harrassment of The American Spectator. That aside, there's plenty of good evidence presented.

The other point he missed is that the dismissal of all 93 United States Attorneys was closely proximate to, and obviously intended to relieve the pressure from, pending referrals from the Resolution Trust Corporation to the United States Attorney in Little Rock concerning RTC's investigation of the collapse of Madison Guaranty, which was an Arkansas politicans' honeypot, when it was under the "management" of Jim and Susan Macdougal.
