Meanwhile, Sheriff Andy Taylor of Mayberry RFD has announced elevated alert levels in Seattle and San Francisco...

MULTIPLE CITIEIS ON THE SAME DAY. IE The Spanish 3/11 was MONTHS after 9/11. It's unlikely they would carry out attacks on multiple continents on the same day, namely because their cells are regional, and there is little lateral communication.

our level in DC has been orange for forever, if i am not mistaken. it is not unusual to have different threat levels in different cities. i saw nothing different coming in this AM, but heard that metro would have a greater security presence.

DC has been raised to orange before.

Last I heard, Homeland Security was going to see if "increased chatter" or other intelligence in the U.S. mirrored the chatter level and intelligence in England prior to today. There must have been some parallels.

What if the terrorists tried to pull an attack on July 4th and weren't able to? London would be their fallback target. Now they figure the police are resting after a long weekend. In Boston all the state troopers who worked the night shift are being asked to stay.

What's ironic is that the islamists absolutely despise and hate the liberals and their way of life, which they view as decadent and against all the principles of islam, yet liberals think that by being limp-wristed pacifists and demonstrating against the war, they have somehow innoculated themselves against any muslim violence.

No, its common for them to have multiple attacks on one city, they've done that everywhere, Spain, Iraq, 9/11. They as yet haven't tried to attack two countries in one day, not on the scale of the London attack at least. To do so would probably require enough communication between continents to raise suspicion, and thwart the attack.
