So.... Have any prominent Muslims condemned the attacks yet?I was watching BBC on cable and they had the head of one of the London mosques (apparently one of the major ones, but I forget his name) who actually condemned the attack. He was being interviewed with an Anglican cleric.
So there's one...I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for more.

"This was not a terrorist attack against the mighty and the powerful, this was against working-class Londoners, an indiscriminate attempt at mass murder.
Translation: "The attack against mighty and powerful America on 9/11 was justified, but this attack wasn't."

There was an invasion scare along the West Coast after Pearl Harbor.
The Japanese actually did invade our Aleutian Islands (Alaska). And there was some attack on Oregon.
And of course, the Philippines and Guam, too, I believe, which were our territories/protectorates at the time were invaded and occupied by the Japanese.

Agree with both points. We need to collapse the Arab economy. They only have oil. Agree: economic tit-for-tat would be a very wiseable solution.

That says to me they've found UXBs.Plus, think of all the unattended items left behind.

OH, my..I feared it was worse than first reported.
4 devices/3 trains affected by one blast they believe..No number of fatalities given on double decker blast(I believe this one was a bad one)..I counted 33 fatalities announced/ Press conference.

I remember reading somewhere that it's possible to distill gasoline from coal.

I would hesitate to be so all-knowing in the future.

There were internment camps in central Alabama for Germans. When I lived in Alabama, there were news stories about the camps. There must have been an anniversary date of them being released or something. But I could be crazy, and my memory could be flawed. This argument, vis-a-vis our current problems, is really neither here nor there. Just an academic exercise at this point.

>>I just heard a report on TV that the hotel rooms in London have now gone up to 4 to 5 THOUSAND dollars a night...whoa..<<
I have a reservation with the London Marriott on Grosvenor Square at 181.30 pounds per night. While the dollar has slipped over the past year, the exchange rate is not that bad.
