Looks like landfall near Grand Isle, La. Just light showers where I am now 20 miles north of New Orleans.
Hope it don't ruin the fishing camp too much.
TS Dennis is on it's way.
Good luck folks.

Looks like we may soon have a hurricane heading our way, too.

I don't think it's ever going to rain again. I've noticed that everyone that I talk to here in Houston is just as obsessed about rain (or lack of it) as I am. Maybe Dennis will head our way?

Spoke to my parents in College Station yesterday. They're convinced that Brazos County will become a desert if this keeps up much longer.
Good thing about that area of the country is that it's pretty no matter how brown the grass is. :)

Here in galveston bay area we FINALLY got a little rain shower on Sunday. Lasted 20 minutes, first rain in a couple of months. On the bright side I was finally able to drain my swimming pool and clean it up, the frogs were very unhappy.

Electrical power blinked here. That caused our refinery to loose steam, now the whole place is shutting down.
Watch for the gasoline prices to jump after this storm.
