France’s Muslim population is exploding and fundamentalist Islam is gaining control over it. French society remains almost completely oblivious. Does this phenomenon entail a ticking time bomb? What consequences does it pose to the West? What lessons is it teaching? To discuss these issues with Frontpage Symposium today, we are joined by a distinguished panel. Our guests:
Mohamed Ibn Guadi, an Islamologist at Strasbourg University and a researcher in Semitic Philology. He is a contributor to Figaro, Le Point and other journals. He has lectured at the Theological Seminary of Montpellier (France) in Islamic Law and Islamic Warfare during the Abbasside empire at Fez (Morocco) and has taught Persian, Arabic, Sumerian and other Semitic languages in Switzerland;
Dr. Soner Cagaptay, an adjunct assistant professor at Georgetown University and a senior fellow and director of The Washington Institute's Turkish Research Program.
Laurent Murawiec, a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute. His book Princes of Darkness: The Saudi Assault on the West will appear in August;
and
Reza Bayegan, a Paris-based university lecturer, political analyst and human rights activist. He writes regularly about Iran and the Middle East and is a political commentator for Iranian radios in exile.

Mr. Cagaptay, let’s start with a brief overview of the phenomenon of Muslims in France. Tell us about the situation there. Is there a ticking time bomb? If there is, what is it? Does it pose a threat to the rest of the West?

I used to wonder how Christians would be persecuted in the final days and now it is becoming clearer. There is a demographic time bomb in Europe where the current Muslim population is growing so fast (by reproduction and immigration) that with in 40 to 50 years at the most the continent will be 2/3rds Muslim. At that time, any civil form of government can simply be voted out in favor of Sharia (e.g., Islamic Law). Do you know what happens to non-Muslims under Sharia? (e.g., think Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Indonesia etc….).
· France 10% Muslim mostly from Northern Algeria and North Africa – 1 in 3 babies born in France are now Muslim. That means that in 20 years one third of all 20 year olds in France will be Muslim (not Christian).
· Germany 8% Muslim mostly from Turkey
· Spain 5 to 6% Muslim mostly from Morocco etc…
· Netherlands 6 to 7% Muslim from Indonesia and Morocco
· Italy, Switzerland, England, Norway, Sweden … all in a similar situation.
These Muslim societies/communities are not integrating with the rest of the citizens in the European countries they inhabit and are becoming radicalized as their numbers grow. The typical Muslim family is having 5 to 8 children where as the typical European family is almost non existent. A society / country requires 2.1 children per woman to sustain zero population growth, but the native Europeans are only producing an average of 1.5 children per woman which is negative population growth.
It is estimated that in England, Muslim worshipers at mosques already outnumber congregants of the Church of England every weekend. Similar statistics across the rest of Europe and will only accelerate if Turkey is allowed into the European Union.
The horrible persecution of Christians and the upcoming civil wars are going to take our breath away when we see them unfold.
actually France is a ticking time bomb because it has FRENCH people in it :)
I believe that this has been planned. I also see the same future for us if we do not put our foot down and demand it not be allowed to happen.
I'd happily throw our share of the ragheads down the Euro Tunnel to our hygenically challenged neighbors and collapse the entrance..

Exactly right, and before very long those with the price of an airplane ticket will pack up and leave France.
What's going on in France is also happening here. Watch and learn, because their fate will be ours if we don't stop Islamic immigration.

In the end france england and the rest of europe are going to kick out their moslems.
It is the sacred duty of americans to insure that those moslems return to the countries from which they came.
why? because if they come to the usa they'd find this country filled with christians and jews--ie mortal enemies.
they'd have only one call and that would be to murder the USA.
Please remember. because the expulsion may be as much as a couple decades off. the USA has to be positioned vis a vis europe to insure that the moslems return to their homelands.

This story highlights the ONE thing I'm relieved about in our immigration crisis- most of the Mexican folks coming here are uneducated and a drain on the long-term economy, but they are Christians and tend to have good work ethic and family values.
I hate illegal immigration, but I'd rather have 5 Mexicans than one Arab. Sucks for you, France.
It is a tragedy what is happening to the World. This is going to be worse than Gengus Kahn, the Huns, the Vandals et al put together. These people set civilization back a couple of centurys....the World cannot recover from islam....we will be forever doomed to live in the dirt.
We can pray that God rises up a leader of the United States which is immune from politically correctness, or is not afraid to take on the American hating judges and the ACLU.
We would hope that this leader would finally declair war on islam...and not just "radical islam". We know that islam is not a peaceful "religion"...the only reason that they are as strong as they are is because of violence and murder. Islam will always be run by "radicals" for that is the way it is structured. Peaceful people cannot run islam because no rational, thinking person would convert to islam....especially women, so they must spread islam by violence and murder. You will become a muslum or we will kill you...the normal way islam is spread.
So...we have to see to it here in the U.S. that we elect some people who will wage a war of annialation on all of islam...not just the mullas and mufties and grand klegeals, or whatever you call them....for once one group of "radicals" are killed, their places will be taken over by a bunch of worse radicals. Islam itself must be destroyed...because as long as it exists, there will be no peace wherever they are.

Amen to that. Some Mexican immigrants should be given part-time lecturer status at colleges just so they can teach their own values, and how they survive in America on next to $0. /only-a-little-sarc
