Every muslim not associated with or in agreement with Al Quida or those who support them, and every freeman throughout the world needs to read this message from this man who experienced the actions of Al Quida, thinking he was their ally.
This is the face of tyranny that we are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan and eslewhere around the world, another reason why WE MUST stay the course in Iraq:
Tribal leaders in Husaybah are attacking followers of Abu Musab Zarqawi, the Jordanian-born terrorist who established the town as an entry point for al-Qa'eda jihadists being smuggled into the country.
Following al-Qa'eda's seizure of the main buildings a number of residents fled. Arkan Salim, 56, who left with his wife and four children, said:
"We thought they were patriotic. Now we discovered that they are sick and crazy.
"They interfered in everything, even how we raise our children. They turned the city into hell, and we cannot live in it anymore."
If given the chance to establish a nation as a base of operations, these animlas would export this ideology and method world-wide, including here. They cannot be allowed to win in Iraq or anywhere else.
At the same time, we cannot take our eye off of places like N. Korea or Red China. We have a monumental, generational defining task on our hands and we as a people not flinch and continue the work. The sooner we realize the real extent of the task, the better.
FYI
BUMP!
What's going on? This is like the 4th or 5th article today from England with a somewhat conservative slant on their problems. It can't be the 4th of July weekend, so what gives?
Can't say...but however they may slant the news...this particular story is clear in its implications regarding Al Quida. Even the insurgents we are fighting are havcing to fight the level and brand of intolerance and tyranny that AL QUida represents.
Thanks! And BUMP back at ya.
We all know AQ has made huge gains in England. Yet, they're reporting it. Maybe they are finally waking up and seeing what the threat really is. Coming to a country near you might be ringing true. Now, if only our libs would wake up.
I don't expect it, I only wished for it.
The same breed reside here, luckily, they do not represetn the majority. And thank God for that, for His influence and the millions of good people who came out to vote in droves this last election cycle.
Even though there are issues and policies that I take issue with with the Bush adminstration, I still thank God he is our President as opposed to a Kerry.
I read the headline and thought they were talking about LA.
Amen.
Those two...and numerous more like them...are sappers within the perimeter as far as I am concerned.
Sadly, we do have places in our own country that such a title could apply to...but thankfully, not to the extent described here.
Bump
Thanks...and BUMP back!
I was just going to say this...
" The same breed reside here,"
in reference to, people who left England to get away from various forms of oppression. Maybe the English are starting to feel the squeeze.
Only difference is, we did something, the English are still contemplating things.....
The only perfect politician is you.
The only things that may distract us are the Dims.........and the MSM.........and the lawyers..........and the judges.........and other assorted useful idiots. If we can't win the internal struggle here at home, what chance do we have of getting the job done elsewhere?
"You have no longer any cause to fear danger from abroad . . . It is from within, among yourselves--from cupidity, from corruption, from disappointed ambition and inordinate thirst for power--that factions will be formed and liberty endangered. It is against such designs, whatever disguise the actors may assume, that you have especially to guard yourselves." -- Andrew Jackson, Farewell Address, March 4, 1837
Nothing's ever really changes......does it?
Thanks for the ping!
In my view, there are statesmen, who serve their country and its interests and place that service above self...then there are politicians, whose principle motivation is themselves and their "career".
I know it is a definition of terms that all may not agree with...but it has helped me in watching what people do and determining what they represent to me...and an effective measure to gauge myself on.
