Okay, we're in the middle of a holiday weekend, and I'm bored
My own twisted mind | July 3, 2005 | Me

Posted on 07/03/2005 7:44:15 PM PDT by ABG(anybody but Gore)

This will probably get shunted off to general chat, but what the hell? I'm bored. So, let's list some irrelevant things and have a conversation about them.

1. All Time Favorite Movie
2. All Time Favorite War Movie
3. All Time Favorite TV show
4. All Time Favorite James Bond
5. All Time Favorite Author
6. All Time Favorite Detective(TV, Movie, or Book)
7. All Time Favorite Book

That should be enough to get us started.

Uh oh, Indy -- I thought you were a he. Well, you sure are a good sport. The boys on "Lost In Space?" Surely you don't mean Dr. Smith or Will Robinson?

She could have gone for Thursten, you know, the golddigger and all. What a really stupid sitcom, and we loved it.

I also liked The Golddiggers and the Ding-a-Ling Sisters on the Dean Martin Show. The problem was that there were too many pretty women to concentrate on all at once.

Hey, we all have some skeletons in the closet. I still look back fondly on Judy Jetson. But at four you were working on the Tin Man? Phew, you were advanced. At four I was still trying to burn ants under a magnifying glass or writing in crayon on the walls.

" My TV knowledge slipped dramatically after the 70s."

It all went down hill after they canceled "here comes the brides" LOL!

Oh man, The Golddiggers. I even remember some of their names -- Michelle della Fave was the tall blonde, Pauline Anthony the British one -- but you're right, their were so many, it was like not being able to see the forest for the trees. It was vertigo.

Hah -- bet you loved Bobby Sherman, didn't you? I remember the old actress Joan Blondell was on that show. Were you a Keith Partridge fan too? I used to like the teenaged Susan Dey.

Here comes the brides! Ha! I remember the theme song about the bluest skies in Seattle. What a lie!

Get smart was a classic. There is a lot of great humor in that show.

Yep, they can't make them that innocent anymore. I used to love the corny humor of "The Munsters" too. Still do, in fact.
