It's odd that I never noticed (that) before.
Verbal acne is more the spoken word but I was very, very ,very, very very, guilty of (that) in school when assignments were assigned by the number of words needed.

Man, and to think some Republicans are concerned that Harris will drag down the ticket!

I'm guessing this'll drag down the Dems ticket a LOT. How the heck does this guy actually think he's got a chance at winning?

Not to be cynical, but I live here after all. Roughly 40% of the voters in this state would vote for Maddox if he went on TV and said he'd used the money to pay for hookers.

Another 10% are wishy washy & will wait until they are in the polling booth to decide for whom they will vote. Doesn't matter how long the campaign is, or what happens during the campaign. They just can't decide until pulling the lever.

It is safe to assume 2% cushion for the DIMs because of fraud. More down in Miami/Dade area.

As usual, the winner will be the one that gets the indecisive voter. Note I did not say undecided.

I think Harris would do just fine.

The Dims are in serious trouble here in 2006. The fun just keeps coming with them.

I hope the Republican party of FL is taking copious notes and video of this because this will seriously make the RATS look like, well, rats, in the next election.

Umm, I see what you are getting at, but your being way too cynical.

Jeb blew McBride out, 56%-43%, so assuming 2% voter fraud, 90+% of the people you dubbed 'wishy-washy' voters just randomly decided on Jeb?

Sorry, that just doesn't hold water.

Hmmm. OK, make the diehard DIMs percentage 35%. /grin

I should have said 1-2% for the fraud. Which of course will vary depending on the local. God only knows what it was in Miami/Dade.

If you look carefully however, you can see a few lumps under the rug. They swept it clean but the trash was not spread thin enought to be completely invisible.

It will be invisible soon. Unless they occur in the midst of a campaign, stories such as this fade pretty quickly. Too bad. IMO there was some outright, prosecutable fraud taking place here.

I imagine the senario would have been a little different had the party been a member of the private sector (or republican party). Then we would have all kinds of wailing and rending of garments regarding the crooked capitalists and/or republicans.
