There is usually a live thread on FR for Tony's show. He does keep up with what is said on it, and may even respond. dougfromupland is a sometime caller on the show.
Tony is on a Dallas station - KLIF, but it doesn't reach out here. Mark Davis is on WBAP, but I have to be in the car and closer to Dallas to get it.

For what it's worth, Krauthammer has the best analysis of Justice O'Connor that's been said so far. His explanation of her social philosophy and not an ideology, she may be notable but will not be remembered as a strong or historic Supreme Court Justice.

In the market I'm in, we just had Dr. Laura replaced with Glen Beck, and I have to say that for now anyway... "I like it!"

You are correct IMHO, about the tactics re: Gonzalez---
It has been said that he is pro-choice and light on immigration issues..
I find it laughable that these dems that are "acting" like he might be "doable" are the same ones that were ripping him not to long ago for "writing the torture rules" used since 9/11....
If the dems want a nominee---I am against him/her, because Ralph Neas and George Soros aren't spending this much time and money, just to have the dems acquiesce to Gonzalez easily for NO reason...

i am supportive of going into Iraq - but Hagel is right. I have not seen any hard evidence that Iraq was linked to 9/11 in any form.

Very interesting stuff there Seattle,
It's clear that the rats have a mantra for everything they do.It's hard to figure out this one. I can't see them letting Bush taking credit for the nominating the first Hispanic. Maybe they have a deal with the MSM to take all the credit instead of GW should it happen, who knows.
Mark Levin would be awesome, but Janice Rodgers Brown better. Mark is an occasional freeper.

He / she will definitely be a solid conservative - and on the record for overturning Roe v. Wade just wait and see the battle looming - if I had to guess: Douglas W. Kmiec.
Who is that?

IMHO a judge is there to administer sentence and rulings in accordance with the law of the land or in your case your Constitution. That's exactly right, snugs. Unfortunately, the advanced deterioration of educational standards in our country has resulted in a populace that really doesn't understand how "the system" is supposed to work. They quick to pronounce it "broken" but haven't a clue on how it should be fixed.

If Bush has been thinking about this for awhile, then I would begin to understand why he replaced John Ashcroft (never did understand that one). In nominating John Ashcroft, it would make the "extreme nomination" complaint unpalatable as he was a fine Attorney General for the US and he was also ONE OF THEM for 6 years prior to AG. To me, John Ashcroft IS the Supreme choice....

I hope there is a clear talking point made to the MSM that the PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN.
They want a Justice as promised (constructionist) by CANDIDATE GWBush.
The majority do NOT want another Occoner, the majority do NOT want a Gonzalez anti-2nd, pro abortion, government hack.
To: ken5050
The mere idea that he thinks he can win the GBOP nomination shows that Chuckie is delusional......Here's today's BUG question:..Which Chuckie is WORSE? (worse being the operative word, and highly subjective) Schumer or Hagel? I'd take the "Chucky doll" from the "Child's Play" movies, over either one of them. In second place, the Chucky doll twin, Tampa Bay Buccaneer football coach Jon Gruden (formerly of 'da Raiduhs).

blocking any minority ...will have disastrous consequences for the Dims"
Makes tremendous common sense.
But don't forget their tremendous MSM spin potential. In today's old media the demorats can literally lie about "anything" and most of the time get away with it at least with the old media, not with the New.

I thin Glen Beck originates out of Tampa and did an exhaustive study on Schiavo, great job from what I hear.

I read at Talkers Magazine, that ABC has signed Mark Davis to do a nationally syndicated show...
I am curious how that is gonna work in the Dallas area...his show with ABC is supposed to run from 12:00-2:00, I think, which in Dallas, is when the station he is on runs Rush...surely they won't stop playing Rush for Davis...
BTW, I have tried for years to listen to Mark Davis, but he is the most pompous, condescending talk show host I have ever heard...I just cannot listen to him, which is great, because Laura Ingraham and Glenn Beck are opposite him and I like both of them a LOT better..
