I like this trend.
Whew!!!..at first read, I thought the headline said "Ramada Inn"
Old Sarge is near Ramadi.
This is welcomed news.
Ping
A quagmire, according to senator Kennedy.
This is definitely good news.
It's more like a roach motel for terrorists. They check in but don't check out.
As the President has said, this kind of work takes time...our patience has paid off. Chalk one for America, and strike 10000 for the liberal detractors of the War on Terror...
I didn't see any "Assault Weapons" listed there so obviously this is insignificant....(sarc)
"The Iraqi Soldiers were tipped off to the locations of the caches and factories by local residents."
Great to hear!
Amnasty Int'l, the DNC and MorOns.org aren't going to be happy about this. Durbin, Biden, Pelosi and Kennedy are going to be demanding we give the this stuff back to the terrorists because it doesn't belong to us.
NYT above the fold front page Sunday edition???
Afterward, you can go back to the hand wringing. Deal?
I hope somebody is handing out "C-notes" to the local tipsters, to encourage more of this.
Yeah, I thought it meant "Arkansas Ramada".
Thanks for post. Yep. The good news shall continue. One cannot help but wonder just how many of literally hundreds of tons of ordnance, and small arms/ammo have been found in the past six months or so. It is one report after another streaming in of weapon caches located. They have to be really running low on crap to use against us and the Iraqis at this point. As for foreign terrorist coming into the country with weapons. Folks Do think a moment. All main road checkpoints now have either coalition and or Iraqi forces posted. They inspect vehicles to make sure nothing comes into the country. The only thing that obviously can get through are terrorist who appear to be legit Arabs. So the stock piles within Iraq are being drained. I am a broken record yes, but remember last year it was reported that more then half the estimated total of all Iraqi ordnance, some 600,000 tons, had been destroyed. I realize there is still a lot of stuff around, and must be scattered around the various provinces, not just in the three hot ones, but surely we are slowly desimating their source of wmds.
As Archie and Edith used to sing, "Those were the days".
