Web page reveals addresses of campaign donors. (this sux!)

Can they do this? I am not thrilled that my home address and place of employment appears now from a simple google search because of this web page....
http://www.fundrace.org/neighbors.php
I know we must keep track of who contributes to campaigns but zip code should be enough. Not the home address! They have ignored my emails thus far.
So, I cant participate in democracy by donating to republican candidates without losing a level of personal security?
This sux.

In my zip code there are probably 300 names total with only about 10% of those donating the DNC candidates. About half of the people who donated to DNC candidates are college professors or teachers. I live in a college town, which explains it. Good thing my state is always the first to be declared for the GOP candidate.

It would probably scare you to know how easily all of that information is found online anyway.
Anyone who knows your phone number can get your home address.

Interesting, how did a U.S. Marshall, employed by the U.S. Government, manage to scrounge up 10,000.00 to give to the DNC?
Hmmmmm?
Just curious, not pointing any fingers.

Thanks for the web site. I found the national map quite surprising - looks mostly red!

Good question.
I will have to look into that, but now I'm off to assembly my daughter's birthday present, in the heat.

I came across a efw interesting ones:
1. Robert Haynes Teacher - MASS AFL-CIO John Kerry $250 63 Lincoln Rd (map) Medford, MA 02155
2. Leonore Efaro Not employed - Not employed Howard Dean $500 48 Rulal Ave (map) Medford, MA 02155
3. Philip Pratt Organizer - NEA New Hampshire John Kerry $1,900 696 Fulton St (map) Medford, MA 02155
1 - Since when did the AFL-CIO employ teachers? Does he teach how to lie on a timecard and attack those with opposing views?
2 - How does someone who's unemployed donate $500 to ANYTHING??
3 - More evidence towards the infestation in NH, they're being overrun by Massholes.

Ditto. I lived (yea past tense!) in 02139, Cambridge Mass. My house master donated $750 to the DNC and many grad students (hey I thought they were poor and needed raises), students in the area, and my professors donated hundreds and thousands at a time to various loser Dem pres candidates. Maybe on red line on each page. My name also was not on the list....

Lovely. I hadn't gotten that far. I bookmarked it for later sniffing.
I love Mamma Bush.

Spy on your neighbors ping.
I was suprised to find quite a few GOP donations from Meffa. But I think you'll find otherwise in PRK and Eastie.

What is the limit that you can donate? Stephen and Tabitha King donated a bunch to the DNC.

I noticed that too :/ no surprise there but still disappointing. Ed Norton tossed 25,000 to the DNC. That's the highest I've seen so far.
