On another thread, I explained my legal and political logic behind the choice of Miguel Estrada to replace Justice O'Connor. Bottom line, I don't think enough Democrats will dare to thumb their noses at the Court, the Constitution and the nation, to uphold a filibuster against a Supreme Court nomination.

I can see that this process is going to long and hard. So with wanting to bring unity to the country I will step up to the plate. Sure I'm not a lawyer but I have read the Constitution which is more that most of the current class of clowns have done.

The next appointment should be a woman. Since a woman is leaving, Bush should name another woman to the "woman's seat". That's my opinion, and I'm stickin' to it.
